Scott Hale Plumbing Heating & Air

When I called for emergency service, I was told that no technician was available and was scheduled for after hour service at an additional cost. But then, I received a call back and was told that there was an unexpected cancellation and was able to get service earlier than expected. Our technician was Brady, very clean and professional. He went right to work. He immediately saw that raw sewage flooded the basement and advised that I call a disaster cleanup relief company. As Brady was working on the clog, he suggested that a camera be sent through the line to check the integrity of the pipes. Shortly afterwards, another technician arrived. As we evaluated the pipes through the camera, there was evidence that the pipes have corroded in some areas and portions of the pipes were out of alignment due to age. A proposed work order was presented. Due to the age of our home, it was suggested that most of the old pipes through out the house be replaced. I was impressed with the new technology of reinforcing the pipes interior with plastic and how quickly the work was done. The actual repair work was completed in three days. I would highly recommend Scott Hale Plumbing. Although I was only expecting to have my drain unclogged, it was necessary to have the proposed work done. The work was not cheap by any means. I had to make a loan to cover the expense. But, it was the right time and worthed the cost. more

I requested that Scott Hale send a heating and A/C person to perform an A/C tuneup-they came out and completed the job quickly and explained what they did and what they found with my system and made sure that I understood and took the time to answer questions that I had. It was difficult to get a person to come out to us from Scott Hale Plumbing, Heating & Air. They told us they would be there on Friday and it didn't happen for an entire extra week. Another thing was they almost left without checking to see if something worked properly, Luckily we found the mistake but it took one of us to point it out. Finally after 3 weeks from the original phone call and once they had all the parts in they needed to fix our toilets everything was fine, they did well. It was just that initial period we got frustrated with. more

I was really impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, and price. They outbid the first company we went with by quite a lot! They worked great with our Insurance Co. They got the job done quickly, right, and made it look like they had never been there after their cleanup. We will definitely call them again, but hopefully we wont need to. more

Both (A/C and plumbing) technicians were early to the appointments, were respectful and courteous. They went out of their way to make sure that I was part of decision process, and showed me the problems. When one problem was beyond the plumber's range, he quickly made a reappointment with his supervisor and more equipment, instead of ignoring the problem. more

Communication from the office was great and notified me right away when there were issues with the plumber running a little late (which was just minutes). The plumber was courteous and professional and took the time to listen to my plumbing issues and used the information that I had already gained from trying to find the problem myself, before assessing the situation/issue. Will definitely call Scott Hale next time I need help with any issue with my home. more

The only downside I have experienced was due to a subcontractor brought in by Hale Plumbing to install a new cultured marble tub/shower splash. The sub was late, did poor finish work, and did not adequately clean up at the end of the project. Hale's employees completed their portion of the project in a professional manner. more
