I had no idea how nice the Hogle Zoo would be. My family arrived at 9:30 am which was a slow time. I didn't think $8 was unreasonable to pay to get in. The exibits were great especially the giraffe one. You can get up to eye level to the giraffes thanks to the stairs in the exibit. If you need something to snack on I didn't think the prices were that bad. Definitely bring good walking shoes because you do get a good workout there are quite a few steep hills. We spent 3 and a half hours there and had a great time. I haven'e been to many zoos but this is the best one I have been to so far. Pros: Good value for the price Cons: Not all exhibits were open

My niece and I always have a blast when we go the the Children's Museum. There are tons of things to do, see and talk about. It is very 'hands on' and I think that is what makes this place so much fun. When we go, we're usually there for about 2 hours. Admission is reasonable. I was excited to learn that the Children's Museum will be relocating to the Gateway Shopping Center within the next year. Their new space is supposed to have state of the art exhibits and will be in a great location. I can't wait! If you've never been here, definitely make an effort to go! You won't regret it. It will be a day of fun that your kids will be talking about.
