During the spring and summer seasons, the flowers that are in full bloom are absolutely breathtaking! It is a must see! I love going to take in the beauty that has been planted and bringing along a blanket to sit on and relax and stretch out while reading a book. This is also are great place to take visitors that have come into town.
You can also catch various concerts throughout the year. Check their website to get the dates and who will be playing.

Red Butte Gardens is one of the most beautiful places you can visit in the spring and summer in the Salt Lake Valley. The outdoor gardens hold gorgeous flowers and plants--some that one may have never seen before. It is a peaceful and relaxing place to take a picnic and nice book to sit back and relax in. The gift shop has some neat items. It is one of my favorite places to go during the summer nights in Utah.
There are also many music events that take place throughout the seasons. I've been to an evening jazz concert and was in heaven sitting back in my chair, taking it all in. Ahhhhh.
Definitely a place worth visiting.

The hospitality at Temple Square couldn't be better. LDS missionaries of different ages run the day to day events and sights. The gardens are absolutely breathtaking in the spring and summer. It is very peaceful and calming to walk through. During the holidays, Temple Square is decorated with hundreds of thousands of lights. It is so beautiful to see! People from all over the world, of all religions, come to experience and enjoy these sights.

The Utah Jazz have a rich tradition in Utah of winning. In recent years they haven't been so lucky but nonetheless, the games are incredible fun. The Delta Center is a great arena that is comparable to any arena in the US. Jazz games are much more family friendly than other NBA games and I have been all over. I have to say that the Jazz fans are possibly the most loyal of all fans. Tickets always vary depending on the seats but there are usually promotions that save a lot of money.

One of my favorite restaurants (Chinese) is P.F. Chang's. When I read that Pei Wei is owned by them, I knew that I had found a new love. I love going here!
My husband and I went tonight for dinner and it was as good as always. I ordered my favorite--the Honey Seared Chicken and my husband got the Orange Peel Shrimp. We had to wait a little longer than usual for our food to be delivered to our table, but that was because there was a huge order being cooked for a party that was having food catered to them. The manager went around to each table and apologized for the wait and gave a card for a free Lettuce Wrap appetizer. I was totally wow'ed by that! I give Pei Wei a definite thumbs up!

Rumbi Island Grill is one of my favorite places to go! They get your food to you so fast, they even have take out so if you call ahead of time you it will be ready when you walk in the door, then you can take it and eat at the park. I love the Hawaiian Chicken Teriyaki sandwich or the Teriyaki bowl there. It is so delicious, if you haven't been there, I suggest you go there, Now!
