My Doctor 12/16/2011

Roxana has been my Doctor for somewhere around 20yrs and will be as long as she will have me! Over the years she has diagnosed and treated a variaty of my problems with one being a life threatening conditions that everyone else missed. If something is a little out of normal she will not rest until she finds out what it causing it. My office visits are always a good experience. I am courteous to her and her staff and they are to me. I ask many questions and she spends time to answer all of them. I will always consider her part of my family! more

IM CHANGING PCP .............CRAPPY SERVICE 8/29/2011

Where do i begin....have to agree with the last posting from April. After you finally get an appointment it is true Dr Rhodes is more concern with going on to the next patient that she doesnt even heard anything you say. If you have any problems she will as the person stated before just over talk you and will not listen. I have been asking for a referra..................l tell me why I keep getting medications that are not solving the problem. You will sit and wait 30 mins and she will only talk 5 mins. You constanly have to tell her whats in your chart I though she would somewhat know her long time paitents or read over your chart if you have been coming for some years. Front desk help since i have been going i have seen about 4 different people who all act just like her trying to push you through. Dont even call them as they have no customer services training what so ever. Amanda the nurse i dont see why she even works there she always seems as if shes in another world other than there assiting the Dr. She's another one that will not return calls constantly avoids helpingthe patient . Its said that I had to change my Dr. as the location was in a good spot. \r Please find someone else to go to you have been warned. more

A different perspective... 4/20/2011

I have to disagree with all of these other reviews...this is sad because I read them before going to Dr Rhodes. She is a great Dr until something is actually wrong with you...she consistently cut off my questions and seemed in a rush to move on. Some of my symptoms she just brushed off. She prescribed medicine without even listening to all of my symptoms, when that medicine didn't work she ordered tests but it then took multiple weeks to get her to call me with the results after I had called several times. Finally in tears because of my pain and frustration her assistant referred me to a specialist but then the office failed to ever send the referral. It has been three weeks and 3 calls and I'm still waiting for a referral, still in pain. Not to mention that the staff is very rude on the phone and argues with each other in front of patients! more

Best Dr. 1/12/2010

I have been a pt. of Dr. Rhodes for many years. She is almost always on time. However if your appointment needs to be longer she dosen't rush you out the door. She really listens to her pts. and takes the time to help them. I recommend her whenever anyone needs a Dr. I also like her nurse Amanda. They all are easy to talk to very approachable. more

Caring Doctor, Caring Staff- Recommend to all my employees, friends and family 10/30/2008

Here's the thing- I am a small biz owner with no insurance. My employees also have no insurances provided by my company (although most have through spouse). I know what lousy care and doctors that don't care is all about.\r \r This doctor is one of the most honest, decent, patient physicians in this city. There are many doctor's offices that will not even let me make an appointment because I have no insurance, let alone specialists. Dr. Rhodes works with me in offering payment options and discounts, working with my family in helping to keep our health care manageable and offer suggestions for over the counter solutions or even natural remedies to keep costs low. \r \r She even calls her colleagues to find those who are willing to work with my situation, give me payment options or discounts and books my appointments for me. Her office is always willing to work myself or my children in for emergency appointments same day and that is the only times I have ever had any wait whatsoever- when I am being worked in for an emergency. \r \r Dr. Rhodes is the most thorough, caring physician you will find. Pros: Best All Round Care for Entire Family on Self-Pay or Insurance more

Awesome doctor and staff 3/29/2008

I have had a great experiences with Dr. Rhodes. She listens and is very informative. The office returns calls quickly. Once I asked to be seen the same day and was seen the same day. I have seen Dr. Rhodes since I moved to town 7 years ago. I have recommended my family and friends to her because she is an excellent doctor. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. I have never waited more than 10 to twenty minutes to be seen. In fact, most of the times I have been seen right on time. Best times to schedule an appointment is early afternoon. I have never had to wait to be seen in the afternoon. I highly recommend Dr. Roxana Rhodes. Pros: Helpful Doctor more

Good Doctor, Lousy Service 11/20/2007

I've been Dr. Rhodes' patient for almost 10 years. Dr. Rhodes is a good doctor. She takes the time to listen to you without rushing you. HOWEVER, the last few visits I have scheduled with her, I have waited an hour or more to see her. On my last visit I discovered that Dr. Rhodes was not even in the office, and I had already waited for over an hour upon this discovery. On another occassion, I was 15 minutes late, and my appointment had been canceled and I was charged the $25 cancellation fee. Her staff is very friendly, professional, and punctual. Dr. Rhodes could learn a thing or two from them. Pros: good bedside manner Cons: waiting time is very long more
