Unique atmosphere; varied menu 12/11/2007

No telling what the other reviewers are talking about. Graffitti Grill is a really nice date spot. It is well decorated inside. The waitstaff is very attentive, without "joining" your table. The food is chef-prepared, not cooked by kitchen deviants. It is a really nice restaurant. I've never had to wait, but somehow the restaurant always seems "full" to me. It isn't a real large place. I recommend reservations. A touch on the expensive side, but worth it for the value and unique menu offerred. Oh.. and it is clean. Pros: Ambience, unusual menu, service Cons: ? none more

Color Me Disappointed! 4/21/2004

Some of my friends and I went to GG for an early lunch one day around 11:30. I don't know if they were unprepared for us or what, but it was an extremely disappointing lunch for us all. The tomato soup tasted like it came out of a Chef Boy-ar-Dee can. The portions were very small. The waitress sauntered over only when we called her. The sandwiches were completely nondescript. And when we got the rather large check, we realized we'd been had. To add insult to injury, some nuts were providing an extremely loud, obnoxious rendition of "Happy, Birthday" that the management should have nixed. We won't go back! Next time we're in a hurry, we'll go to McD's. Cons: , Service, Noise Level more

Awful Food. STAY AWAY! 4/5/2004

The Cole Slaw is NASTY, as in DISGUSTING. The service is mediocre at best, and the prices are too high for what is little more than a lunch counter. The decor was obnoxious. The place is a dump. Not a good place to go for a good time. Stay Away! Pros: none Cons: , service, ambiance more

  • The Scene
Graffiti covered walls, sleek wooden booths and a wall-lined banquette set the scene for casual lunches or fancy dinners. The owner's eagle eye insures impeccable service even on busy days. When the lights dim at night, servers still scurry to create a pampered yet informal neighborhood dining experience.

    The Food
West End women don't wander in for lunch by accident. The curried chicken salad sandwich has red grapes and toasted almonds, and there's always a Turkey Burger of the Day Special ($5.95). Protein Diet divas can pig out on the Cobb Salad ($7.25). Dinner menus change every five weeks and are a bit more unpredictable. Beef, fish, shellfish and chicken dishes can get quite exotic and the pretty plate presentations pull it all together. Traditionalists can always count on Veal Meatloaf with Wild Mushrooms & Marsala Gravy ($13.95) and a Portobello Mushroom en Croute stuffed with veggies. Serving seasonal desserts is smart, and only the die-hard don't succumb.
