I have lived near Greenlake for many years but only went to this restaurant recently. The food is amazing, probably the best Italian in Seattle. Call ahead for reservations though as they usually have a line to get seated. And be sure to save room for dessert! more

Pretty good 9/22/2006

This used to be one of my favorite places but the prices have gone WAYYY up. That being said it's still quite good with excellent fresh meals. I had a carbonara that wasn't great so next time I'll stick to a mix of cream and red sauce which has always been to die for.... you have to ask for it special but it's well worth it. The pizzelle ice cream sandwich is great so save room for dessert. more

A favorite neighborhood place 3/24/2006

When I've had a hard day and want to relax with some comfort food, this is my favorite place to go. It's the ONLY restaurant where I've ever had spaghetti and meatballs and haven't thought "heck, I could make it better at home." I can be lured away from the spaghetti and meatballs only if the chicken pistachio ravioli is on the specials board. It's amazing. And be sure to get the molten chocolate pudding cake to finish things off (it takes 15 minutes to make, so order it with the rest of your meal rather than waiting until after). more

Small Neighborhood Family Food 6/29/2005

This restaurant is a great place to go for a wholesome Italian dinner that your kids will love. It ain't fancy in decor, ambiance, menu selection or wine list but the food is good, the price is right as my nine year old said, "we'll have to remember this place for next time!" more

Out of the way but really good Italian food 4/25/2005

I ate at Rialto this past weekend. Despite the restaurants obscure location in Ballard, it's a great neighborhood find and has excellent italian cuisine. I highly recommend the Spaghetti and Sausage as well as the pasta bolognese (sp?). more
