Best up and coming chef in Atlanta!!!!!!!!!!!! 1/28/2009

The genious of Rico is his layering of flavors! Everything iin his restaurant is extraordinary. This is the newest up and coming chef in Atlanta. Everything is made fresh daily, and the proof is in the tasting. If you don't try Rico's World Kitchen, you are not a true foody, and are missing out on REAL food, not processed assembly line food. more

Chowder is barely edible, and a salad full of the worst parts of lettuce. 8/15/2007

I took my best friend here for a quick birthday lunch last week, and we were, well, a little weirded out by our waiter. We had a gentleman named Adam, who obviously tried a little too hard to be friendly with his patrons by incorporating hip-hop phrases into his conversation. The service was incredibly slow. We were seated for 10 minutes before our drink orders were taken, and, even after that, it took another 10 minutes for our waters, and 5 more after that for the Lobsterita we shared. The Lobsterita was alright, and a good deal for the size. It served the 2 of us for the entire meal. My friend had the 2 appetizer sampler thing, which was as average as some chicken strips can be, and I had the soup and salad. The clam chowder was barely edible, and my salad was almost entirely the fibrousy white part of iceberg lettuce, with a dash of dressing on it. If I do go back, it'll be because my best friend loves their cheese biscuits, which I will say was the highlight of this trip. Not worth the time or the money, though, in my opinion. Pros: Cheese Biscuits Cons: Chowder, salad, service more
