Most Comfortable Room 2/3/2011

I travel a lot and stay in hotels regularly but I must say this was by far the most comfortable room I have stayed in. The beds were great, the free wi-fi was fast and most importantly they have electrical outlets next to the bed and the lounge chair where I could plug in my laptop and work with ease in addition to double sockets on the work desk. I have stayed in big brand name hotels and always searching for outlet behind the bed or furniture to charge my phone. It seems they have recently renovated the hotel because everything in the room looked new. The exterior could be improved.When in Austin I am definitely staying at this Ramada. more

Enjoyed our stay 1/21/2011

I went on a trip to austin to help my friends look for an apartment and we stayed here. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was very private there was an outer entrance door right by our room so we didnt have to go thru the front entrance. The room was very spacious and very clean in fact a little too clean because it smelled of bleach when we came in but after we turned the air on it was fine. The continental breakfast was pretty awesome there was plenty of different kinds of breakfast too eat but you have to get there early if you want any of the good dounuts. over all we enjoyed the stay and would stay again. more

Comfortable Stay 1/18/2011

The hotel was clean, customer service was up to par, and you can't beat it for the amount of room (suite) for the price. Traveling with two kids, the loft suite gave my wife and myself some "space" I would say that the Hawthorne sign was covered up to a name that I didn't recognize due to new management... Unfortunately, I can't say that I would have picked this place if I didn't recognize the name; however, it was a comfortable stay. more

Will Stay Here Again 1/18/2011

Went to go see ACDC on Friday ther 6 of November and took the kids with me. This could't have been a better location. The rooms clean and the staff was very nice. Complimenary breakfast was cool with cereals and fruit and some yogurt was very healthy start for our morning.Felt very safe having the Expressway right there. There was no noise and slept like a rock.Of course nothing is perfect and the only thing I can say that was not right was the parking spaces. They were kind of small and very close to each other. Maybe painting them again and having them wide would fix this problem.They do have alot of parking in the back but nobody parks there.Over all I can say that on my next trip to Austin I know where to stay. more
