This wasn't the worst Mexican food I've ever had, but it was close. The were some tasy things, the cumin-spiced rice and the spicy salsa being two of them, but many of the entree...

Worst ever 9/2/2012

First of all the waiter "Yerik" (#30011) was a complete jerk. He brought out the wrong drink order, twice, and then when I informed him of this he acted put out and was condescending when he came back to me. A family member of mine asked him to refill the chips and salsa, he turned around he rolled his eyes at her. Seriously, are you that lazy that refilling salsa is a big deal???? What a loser! Second of all, the food was shit. My 10 yr old little cousin even complained that the beans "were the worst he'd ever had". My girlfriends cheese enchiladas looked like a solid tube of off-yellow cheese. They weren't even edible. It was by far the worst mexican food experience I've ever had. The place was DEAD for a downtown Dallas mexican restaurant, and now I know why. DO NOT GO HERE. more

Spicy Salsa and Great Dessert! 10/5/2006

On our last day in Dallas, we wanted to have a bite to eat before heading to the airport. We were downtown in the Market Street area (where there are several restaurants) and we decided on this RJ Mexican. They had an extensive menu and the prices were very reasonable. They had some different choices than the Mexican restaurants we are used to in Minnesota. I thought the “spicy cucumber slaw” that was served on the side was very yummy – nothing like anything I have had before. The salsa that they served was a bit spicy even for my tastes (I usually order the hot or spicy version for myself). The entrée itself wasn’t anything special, but it wasn’t bad either. I think it was the chicken filling in the enchilada that I liked the least – but overall the food was good. They were running a special at the time where they gave us a coupon for a free dessert or appetizer on our next visit – when we told the server that we were from out of town, he gave us a free dessert for that visit. We had a chocolate cheesecake type dessert that was very good. more
