I'm not sure how this place could possibly get bad reviews. It's one of those kind of "hole in the wall" types of places, that once you've found it, you don't know how you survived before that! The staff is sooo friendly. They are very accommodating and make me feel at home each time I come in. My glasses are always refilled before I even notice they are low! I come here a lot, so I know the service is consistent. The rolls are delicious, super fresh and CHEAP for the quality. My favorites are the sea eel, robb roll, mckinney roll and the devil rolls. The decor is a little outdated, but I find it charming that they let their food speak for itself, without feeling the need to distract you with lots of modern lighting and pretentious music. Perfect place to grab some dinner with friends before a night out.
Pros: cheap, fresh, great service, fast, casual
Cons: ambience

Urbanmarket, is a great grocery store, period. It embodies everything that an on-the-go-shopper like myself needs: Great food, convenience, location & quality service. The market is located centrally for most Downtown residents. They have great pricing that is competitive with other stores & the quality of food is exceptional. The prepared foods departed is amazing. I havent seen less than 25 great dishes to choose from, and for the cooking-impaired like myself, its a dream come true. VISIT URBANMARKET TODAY! YOU WON'T BE SORRY!
Pros: Convenient, good prices, great food

My wife and I first tried Firehouse a few months ago and it has become the standard that everywhere else we go to is compared to! We have yet to find another restaurant that we put as a 10 on the "firehouse scale."
We bring people in frequently to entertain and are ALWAYS delighted. Our regular server Will always asks about what spice level each of our guests are looking for. Hot and spicy is their thing, but they'll get it decedant and mild if that's your thing.
The atmosphere is relaxed, warm and inviting with the service, food, and music to match. If all small restaurants put this amount of detail into their service the corporate restaurants would all go under. If you're looking for something different, delicious, and an all around great experience head to Lower Greenville... you'll probably see my wife and myself in there treating ourselves.

Pros: Incredible package, food, service, atmosphere
Cons: It's too cold to enjoy the patio

Need I say more! We were told by the staff that the food is prepared with love and let me tell you...it certainly makes all the difference. I am convinced their food comes straight from the heavens. It not only tastes incredible every single time; it also looks fabulous. The soup is amazing. Make sure you put the tahini sauce on your veggies, it is hidden behind the soup crock. I eat the salad for pre-dessert it is so tasty. The tamarind tea is excellent and refreshing, the cinnamon/raisin bread is almost too much to handle...the halva is a party in your mouth! Sit in the atrium if the weather permits for the ultimate experience. Stop by the shop and take a look at the temple when you're done. Don't be afraid to ask questions, everyone is super nice and informative...not pushy.
Pros: Fresh, delicious, serene atmosphere, best price in town!
Cons: Bit of a Drive, Parking on Ocassion

This hotel is amazing. It is clean and pretty reasonable for downtown Dallas. The rooms are huge and the beds are so comfortable. I loved that the beds had a down comforter on it. It was like home away from home. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a brunch for about 50 people there and it was great. A semi-private room made it just perfect to slip in and out and have privacy. The food and drinks are excellent with creative options available. If you like southwest cuisine this place is a must. It's also great for happy hours. They are very accommodating.

One of my most memorable birthdays was here at this hotel. The Dome Lounge atop Reunion Tower was the best place to celebrate my 18th birthday! I was able to enjoy my birthday with my family overlooking the Dallas skyline.

I went to City Cafe the other day and had the most amazing veg soup and filet steak! The room is tastefully decorated, the enviorment warm and inviting, and the entrees dished out beautifully. They are located on Lovers lane in Highland Park and when we went there it was an off night so we had no wait at all. It is reccommended that you make reservations since they are a popular highland park restaurant. They also have a cafe next door for quick to go iems off of their menu. The location next door also has fresh baked cookies that are perfect for parties or for a tea at your home. Call for reservations for parties as well, they have an amazng second floor with a large serving room for special occasions. Very deceiving from the front, this can accomodate up to 150 people for a private party .
Pros: Fantastic Ambiance and service
