Their service sucks! My wedding dress is there right now. First of all they have a sign on their window that says ""Brides, shop and compare prices!"". You get in there, they pin you up, and they don't/can't give you a price. They don't have a price list and they charge you whatever they want. My first fitting I needed to have a lot taken in off the top. They told me to come back the next week for the bustle and hem THEN they would give me a price. I go back the next week at the time they told me to come. I sat there for 25 minutes waiting for them to finish what they had a week to do. They do the bustle and hem and asked me to come back in a week at 6:00. They didn't have a price for me because the manager wasn't in. I was told I'd be called first thing in the morning. They didn't call. I had to wait til Monday and I blew up their phone until they answered. ONLY THEN did I get a price (and it was more than I was expecting/wanting to pay), now that they're more than half way done with my dress, awesome!. I got there today for my third fitting at 5:50, and they told me it's going to be another hour. REALLY?! This was my second appointment where they weren't ready. I just got off the phone with the manager. He apologized, said they're very busy, they have the best prices because they check with everyone, and for all the work they're doing on my dress they really should be charging me another $100.00. He spoke with the owner and they agreed to take a whopping $20.00 off the total. ?!?!?! He kept telling me to check other places for their price and I'd see that they are cheaper. HOW?! They have my dress!!! He didn't have an answer for that. They waste your time and charge you out the butt. more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Firstly let me say that the place is practically a sweat shop. It is very warm in the building, I felt like I was sweating all over my wedding dress when I took it to be altered. Secondly, very impersonal service. It was like a chain of people getting alterations and one person doing so. Finally, the day came to pick up my dress. I was excited. Well, now I'm not. I handed the ticket stub to the guy at the register. He disappears for about 5 minutes and then comes back. He asks me, ""What did your dress look like?"" then he leaves again, and comes back to ask what color it was. Really! I was floored. So then he asks if I want to try it on, and I did. As I'm taking it out of the plastic wrapping, I notice a line of small blood or rust stains. Then I look at the area they took it in and sewed it back. The stitching looks like my blind grandmother did it. It's all over the place coming undone at the seam. Now, after wasting time and money at this place.. I now have to find ANOTHER tailor to repair my dress. These people profile customers and charge based on appearance and race. Another woman was getting far more alterations done to a much more detailed dress than mine.. but paid a fraction of what we were quoted. This tailor came highly recommended to me by family. I just have to say that I hope nobody elses dresses are ruined. I'm livid. more

I was pleasantly surprised that 5 minutes before they were closing on Saturday, I was able to get 3 pair of pant legs hemmed and a button sown on a shirt. The cost was $35 + tax which may seem high, but I was in a hurry and they were gracious enough to finish them all even though it was after closing. They did a great job and I am very pleased with their work. more

First of all, the name is Prestige by Mario, and Mario has not even worked there for four years! I went to this place 8 years ago for a prom dress and they did a great job for a great price, so when I came back recently I assumed I would be getting the same service. Wrong! Everytime I went back for a dress fitting, they still hadn't completed the work from the visit before. They don't listen to what you want, they just do the minimum to get you out the door. BEWARE of their pricing, because they just make up whatever price they want. They even told me that they have no set pricing. I was way overcharged, and when I asked to speak to Mario, that's when they said he doesn't work there, they just kept his name up. That is false advertising!! The new owner is the rudest person I ever met and did not care about customer service one bit. He even yelled at me in front of other customers. All they care about is money and they don't care if you ever come back. Do not use this tailor for anything if you want a good job done and fair price. I learned the hard way.
