There is plenty to love about P&P but my two favorite things are: attending book readings and hanging out in the cafe downstairs. The readings can be fiery or polite or in-your-face provocative. Amazing coffee and great local presence makes this place an awesome DC hangout. Pros: Coffee and great conversations Cons: can attract the eccentric more
