Jen B is the best! She gave me the most gorgeous hilights. She is also up to par on all of the lastest trends! Would definitely recommend to anyone how wants to look fabulous!! She's is just what Salon's in the city need! more

Bruce Slemmer is the BEST! 3/22/2006

I am thrilled to have found Bruce. I had heard of Pileggi Salon in several top mags, and I travel to Philadelphia regularly (from Utah, home of overprocessed blondes and undereducated hair stylists). I was able to get an appointment with Bruce, and he is an angel, truly. He transformed my hair into something I'm proud of for the first time in my life. He spent an incredible amount of time making my color perfect, and he is mindful of making sure it lasts so you don't have to have really expensive upkeep. I now plan my trips to Philadelphia around my hair! Bruce IS the BEST! Pros: great products, knowledge, personal service more

I love Cynthia Pedito! 2/23/2006

I have been going to Cynthia for the last 8 years and I don't know what I would do without her! I followed her from Oggi because she is simply the best! She is relaxed and fun and always interested in what works for me. She does beautiful highlights and always has terrific ideas (but isn't at all pushy). Over the years, I've had different styles and each has been fun and flattering and pretty and easy to take care of. I would recommend Cynthia to anyone! The salon is great too - a great combination of funkiness and elegance. more

Marlene rocks! 2/19/2006

I had made an appointment for color and a cut, but when I arrived, my stylist was overbooked and could only do a cut. Marlene stepped up and put the best color in my stubborn moussy brown hair. It took hours for the color to lift, and she really went out of her way to perfect my hair - a true professional. Thank you so much Marlene, I LOVE IT!!! Cynthia Peditto rocks! 2/8/2006

I have been Cynthia's client since her very early days at Oggi, so I was THRILLED when she moved to Pileggi! Not only is the location better (and parking easier) but the entire salon is much more fun, friendly and relaxed than Oggi. Cynthia is a master, the only one in the city who can cut curly hair. She gives her clients 150% of her attention and skill. Not only is she a great stylist, she's fun, funky, energetic and sweet. She has great hair and great style. I'd follow her anywhere, but I hope she stays at Pileggi, which is the best salon in the city. Pros: Cynthia, Location, Very nice staff more

Cynthia Peditto knows my head. I have simple needs when it comes to haircuts, and she serves them. She takes control from shampoo to product application, a one-person job. With one person taking care of you, the personable factor skyrockets. I have received more compliments on her work than any other stylist at Pileggi, and I have been with many. She is top notch. more

When I learned that Pileggi was voted best in the city, I wasn't a bit surprised. Afterall, it's the home of the most talented stylist in the city, Cynthia! I've been going to her for eight years and both my husband and I absolutely adore her. She has a wonderful warmth and sense of humor yet she remains professional at all times. Man or woman, color or cut, she performs sheer magic on every client. The beauty of her work is matched only by her smile and I feel more beautiful every time I leave her chair. If you're lucky enough to get an appointment with this truly talented lady, you'll be amazed!! Although I was recently relocated to New York, we venture into Philadelphia every six weeks for an appointment. Thank you, Cynthia! You have a client for life and I will follow you anywhere! I have been going to cynthia since her days at oggi salon, and would follow her to the ends of the earth! i am a male and like a funky yet conservative cut for my job and she wows me everytime. she listens to my needs and is efficent and patient at the same time. i have sent her countless recommendations from my professional and personal contacts and never a complaint. NEVER! this gal deserves some major press and notice, particularly now that she has found her place at her new salon, the europeon-styled pileggi on the sqaure. thumbs up, one out of ten, the oscar goes to...and all the rest! ps...love the salon too! I found BRUCE! 1/12/2006

I just wanted to make everyone aware that I found Bruce. He is @ Pileggi on the Square and still fabulous as ever! There was some confusion on where he had gone....from mailers, wrong information, etc. But I am proud to tell you that he is right down the street from his last locatoin. You can't miss him, he's right in the window! Just wanted to share this fabulous info with everyone!!! more

Found great salon in Allure Magazine!! 1/12/2006

I'm new to the area and was looking for a somewhere get a much need cut and my color fixed. I saw Pileggi on the Square in Allure Mag listed as the Best Salon in Philadelphia. When I went to make an appointment, they put me in with Bruce. I was nervous, but he was great! Turns out he was in Allure Mag to in Aug for Best Colorist- they called him a mad genius or something. I can't believe I found a new salon and colorist so easily! more

Cynthia, THE BEST STYLIST IN PHILLY!!!! 1/2/2006

Cynthia at Pileggi has been cutting and coloring my hair for a long time, and wow !!!! I have never had better looking hair!!! I am very picky about my hair, since I find it to be one of my best attributes and favorite accessory. After just a few visits I had such faith in her, that often times I just sit down and let her go. I have NEVER been oooh soooo thrilled with my hair! I have recommended her to several of my friends with complex needs and they have all remained loyal clients and rave about her. She's creative and a lot of fun, but most importantly- really really knows how to make us all look our best. Pileggi has quite an asset in Cynthia!!! more

Cynthia at Pileggi has given some of the best cuts and color of my life! I'm not always that good about getting to the salon but Cynthia's cuts are soooo great that I'm able to fudge it for extra time. Plus she's a lot of fun. more

The worst place ever 12/21/2005

The place is so crowded, everyone is bumping into each other, you have to yell over how loud it is just to tell ur stylist how you want your hair done. You cant even get through the place without saying excuse me about 20 times. I dont know about everyone else but I want a place that you can relax and get your hair done and not be rush through a service or leave with a headache from the noise. People just arguing about things in front of clients instead of taking it somewhere private. everyone in there are just so mean. You can tell there is no team work. i think its the worst place i have ever been to. I'm gonna find a salon better than this one and when i do i will let everyone know. What a disgrace!!! This salon is fantastic!! What else can I say, WOW!!!!!!! The staff is great and everyone there is so spectacular and beautiful. My hair has never looked this great. I would tell you my stylist, but you have to go see and check it out yourself---after all, everyone is great! happy hair Pros: everything, everything, everything Cons: nothing!!! more

Wow! Can I just tell you, Jennifer B! Sorry I can't spell her last name:) Just when I almost gave up on that place! I went in to give it one last chance. I have been there before, but wasn't to impressed. So anyway, I met jen she was great, very attentive she gave me exactly what i wanted. My color was beautiful, I was glowing with excitement and my haircut!! Lets just say the best haircut I have ever got, she is so talented and; made me feel relaxed. I trusted her judgement 100% she knows what she's talking about. SHE IS THE BEST!, I recommend anyone who is in the area and is tired with their hair and needs a updated look. She is the Star at that place, I hope she doesn't get to busy, and hard to get an appointment with! She works Monday too!! Pros: attentive, skilled, professional more

beautiful, long, shiny, blonde walks by me and I freeze!! her color so stunning!!!!!!! her hair had so much movement. so i finally asked""where and who does your hair?"" she recommends Edmondo at pileggi. he is the best stylist words just can not explain you must experience it for yourself the best cut and color ever!!!!! now others freeze and ask me ""who does your hair?"" more

My first experience was a very positive one, and I'll definitely return for a follow-up trim with Chris S. The salon itself has tons of character, and the decor is a must see.
