We are in need of car repair and will be taking our business to a reputable place (Kars in Wheat Ridge). We experienced Pickering's dishonest service about 10+ years ago. We have to take our car in for repair, so I thought I'd check on Pickering's ratings, just out of curiousity, lo these many years later. When you get burned by a company, it's really hard to forget. This company's packaging looks great, but they don't deal with you honestly, at least they didn't with us. Our experience is this: my husband took his car in and asked that a new carburator be installed. What did Pickering's do? They cleaned the old carburator, slapped it back in and charged my husband for labor and the cost of a new carburator. My husband knows about cars and he takes note of things before he leaves his car in the hands of repair shops. He knows what the old carburator on his car looked like and so when he received his car and checked on the carburator and saw they'd cleaned up the old one and slapped it
