Free from the superficial trappings of the neighborhood it's located in, Pete's Diner it a no frills grill joint where you can get a full breakfast for two for under $11. Other than your standards of eggs, bacon, and pancakes for breakfast and reubens and grilled chicken sandwiches for lunch, occasionally you'll find something more exotic if it happens to tickle the chef's fancy. Weekdays, the diner fills up with Hill staffers at lunchtime and on the weekends, it fills up with locals for breakfast and lunch, but a seat is never more than a few minute wait away.
