Thank you Dr. Howell! 8/9/2011

I had been having reoccuring shin splints consistently following any walking or running for the last 2 years. A friend recommended that I go see Dr. Howell at the Pearl Health Center. I have always been a chiropractic skeptic and never would have considered going to see a chiropractor for shin splints but thought I would go because my friend insisted he was wonderful. Dr. Howell was professional, knowledgable, personable and most importantly, by the next day my injury felt dramatically improved. I felt that I was given individual attention and was able to to get all of my questions answered. I will definitly be back....I am a believer now! more

Very thorough and patient 8/3/2011

I had a nasty bug I picked up on the plane home from a business trip and it was just not going away. I HATE going to the doctor...let me emphasize HATE...so I have to be feeling really bad to do so. Anyways, I checked on my insurance web site for a provider and Pearl Health Center's practitioners popped up. I called them immediately and the NP, Shari, was willing to squeeze me in around her lunch break that same day - how nice was that? She was extremely calm and kind and was very thorough and patient. She answered all my questions and even though she really couldn't prescribe something to get rid of the bug, she offered me an inhaler to help with the congestion. She also gave me some other tips to help fight the virus off. more

A calm demeanor 7/21/2011

I saw Shari FNP and felt very comfortable with her. In addition to being very thorough with my exam, she had a calm demeanor and was as attentive during my initial visit as she was on the phone to follow-up a few weeks later. I highly recommend Shari - as well as the Pearl Health Center. more

A real relief 7/14/2011

Just wanted to say thank you, thank you, Dr. Campbell. When I arrived home yesterday after our appt. I felt a real relief. I questioned why this feeling and soon realized it was that I felt I had finally found "real" medical care, i.e. one who cares. Look forward to seeing you again to help me muddle through the mess. more

Shari has always provided thoughtful, knowledgeable healthcare while creating a definite sense of well being. Helping me to use her diagnostic findings to continue correction of health related problems. Bottom line is I feel better after a visit with Shari. more

I needed a quick solution to finding a doctor to see me right away , this location was the nicest around with the quickest intake and the nicest practitioners that I could find , thanks to them I was able to get the ball rolling on my goals with school and finding a way to get my car problems situated and my life seems to be headed in the right direction again now that I have my medication again to take regularly and I am not on a roller coaster of uncertainty of where to go to get the treatment that I needed , thanks for being able to see me more

I have been wearing the inserts in my shoes and my knees have improved a lot. Once again you have taken the time to carefully talk with me and come up with the least invasive treatment that is such a relief. Since I have been coming to you (about 15 years) you have continued to help improve my overall health in the most positive way. I also very much appreciate that when I call with a concern I can get an appointment either that day or the next. The knowledge that i know I can see you in a timely manner is a real comfort. Our recent talks have helped me not only physically but also holistically which actually sums up the extremely good care I get from you -- it is holistically, caring and very effective. Thank you so much more

Dr Howell is amazing 5/15/2011

Dr Howell is amazing. I am a beginner at running but managed to tweak my knees to the point of not being able to even walk with out pain. I heard about him through another runner and he was able to diagnosis my condition almost immediately. Turns out my glute, IT band and hamstring were to blame..my knees were fine. After about 2 visits I was able to run again. Now I go as needed, he is able to fit me in at short notice and his treatments are very effective. In addition I have a truly odd neck, many other chiros have not been able to adjust it, but Dr Howell got it on the first try. I'm really glad to have found him...plus parking is a breeze. more

Pain Free Now!! 5/13/2011

Needless to say, having occasion to need a chiropractor is not reason to celebrate, but finding a good one is! And that's exactly what I found with Dr. Zander. I have spent nearly 2 years dealing with chronic hip and knee junk that has evolved with injuries I've incurred (I play hard), so my issues are far from simple (no comments from the peanut gallery). Within 15 minutes of talking and assessing, Dr. Zander had it figured out and within another 25 was sending me on my way sans clicking hip and sans migraine. Awesome. Whats more- I was able to run for the first time in nearly a year the next day. Pain free. more
