The first time I ordered ahead and go stuck in traffic. Fries cold, steaks cold.. Yuk!!!!!!!!! Next two times I went inside and ordered.. That's the way to do it.. Hot fresh subs with juicy steak inside, cheese whiz a flowing... Heaven in Denver...Best Philly I have eaten in this town, both times I ordered inside... GREAT hear me GREAT.... more

I eat at the Iliff location frequently, but mostly during the week. I have the same sandwich every time. Ordered to go today (Sunday 2:15PM), and a different person was making the sandwiches. Got home and opened it. It totally fell apart. The meat, lettuce, tomato, peppers, etc. all fell out. The sandwich was not cut all the way and more of mess resulted. more

Just tried to email then from their website and got it returned, no big surprise more

6/30/2010 - I called at 7:43pm to hve a sub made. The employee advised that they were only doing walk-ins. As I was talking, I was hung up on. I was just advising that I was around the corner...literally. So I walked up there.... Now being 7:47pm... The door is locked...and the guy in there (who hung up on me) sees me and ignores me. I've never had this experience here with other employees that manned the register. 4 years of great service and being my favorite spot...DEAD! Never going back to that location! Yes, they may have the best cheesesteaks in Denver, but at this particular location the service and food quality has gone downhill over the past year or two and I still get it about once a week or so. The meat portions are less and less every time. I mean yeah the economy stinks, but if I am paying 10 bucks for a 2 dollar sandwich you better throw some friggin meat on there. If i wanted a salad on bread that's what I would have went to Subway! The worst thing is the attitude of the people that run the register. I won't get into semantics, but the guys that run this location are the worst! One of them once put a tip onto my card, which I did not put on there. WTF is up with that? This is the only Pat's I have been to, but I am pretty sure the Philadelphia attitude is not supposed to come with my cheesesteak. It's very unfortunate that I work close by and continue to give Pat's its umpteenth chance. Pros: Excellent Parking Cons: Where's the guy that ran this place 2 years ago when it was good? more

I used to work in three different cheese steak locations in/around Philly, this is by far the best you will ever get out here. At least they don't make you the lingo to get a great sandwhich. And order to bag or table is really quick. Pros: Bread, snack cakes Cons: the DTC location more

I think this may have been the driest sandwhich I have ever received at a public eating establishment. All seemed well when we got there, I think two or three patrons were in front of us. I regret ordereing this sandwhich to go, or I would have been able to comment on their customer service skills when I returned their fare. I am not sure what happened, but I could only eat a couple of bites before having to throw the rest of it away. I don't think I would return here just on g.p. but am not sure if this is a regular feature of their sandwhich, or I just lucked out. Maybe some people prefer this type of deal, but I would have to pass. more

I've been to Pat's twice now off of a recommendation from a friend. Both times we went during off peak hours and they were either short staffed or the bartender was doing double duty serving drinks and taking orders. Both time the service was slow and below average. Great Sub shop, they have the best subs in town, ok actually anywhere. The store is minimally furnished, nothing fancy, but don't be put off. The staff and food is unbelievable. more

Not to be missed, and not to be fooled by the "cafeteria" appearance. This sub shop is small, quaint, but excellent. Great fresh subs loaded with plenty of meat, cheese, and fixings, made to order. You will not be disappointed. We're so glad we found this hidden treasure! Great service, friendly staff, eat in or take out! But mostly, great flavor and very filling! Pros: fresh subs, lots of meat, worth the price Cons: not enough of them around! more
