Ok massage but unfortunate billing 1/18/2013

Ellen told me she thought she was a member of my insurance. We agreed to go through her billing. After two month at I Sked if she thought All was good. She said she thought so. Instead if actually talking to her billing service she led me to believe that we would be covered. After Lmost 4 months I received. Notice from my insurance company that she was not in network. This means that I have to pay out of pocket MORE than had she charged me her standard rates. Instead of trying to work with me all she asked me was , "we'll wasn't it worth it?" I found that to be unprofessional and uncaring. I could not recommend her based on this interaction. more

perfect massage treatment for serious athletes 12/14/2006

ellen parker enables me to go out and hammer on my body. she is an athlete herself and with her degree in kinesiology she has a deeper understanding of athletes demands and issues than any other massage therapist i've been to. i've put some other elite athletes onto her as well. one of them told me "she gets better every time i see her". check ballard therapeutic massage out! more

The Best 7/10/2006

Parking works at the flower shop next door, which eliminates a negative. Have been to a number of therapists, and I have to rate Ellen "The Best." I always leave feeling renewed and in good physical and mental form. more

Ballard Theapeutic Massage 8/16/2005

Massage therapy in Ballard right on Market Street. Very convenient if you are in the area, but you'll have to park on the street and feed the meter or walk a couple blocks. I think the office is a co-op and they have several different therapists with different schedules. The rooms are fairly relaxing but a tad more utilitarian than "spa". more

Excellent professional massage 8/11/2005

Ballard Therapeutic Massage is the place to go for excellent muscle work. Ellen Parker is a licensed massage therapist with a degree in kinesiology and is very knowledgeable of how muscles, bone and tissues work together. She does deep tissue work for damaged or tight areas, or full body work. It's a relaxed environment, very down to earth, professional without the overwhelming upsell of a spa experience. Highly recommended. more
