Best

Love this place. They have the best menu and the best ground duck lettuce wrap. Yummy. Their prices are most reasonable for such a romantic, upscale, and modern look restaurant.

Worst

Great atmosphere and decore. I did love the food and not too pricey -- the portions are ideal for sharing in large groups of two/three +. But because the service was so horrible I...

Pleasant surprise 6/29/2010

A pleasant surprise. This place sounded like a fusion Chinese place and surely I didn't expect it to taste good. But to my surprise, the dim sum was great. It's kinda like the fancy Chinese restaurant, but it was quite authentic. Though if you equate authentic = dirty, then this isn't 'authentic'. But the service is bit lacking, which of course, is like that for all Chinese places. Food tasted great. Prime card discount offers 20% off on top, so it's very competitively priced compare to other dim sum places in the greater seattle area. Top Gun, Jade, King's etc. It's in downtown Seattle though, but they have validated parking. more

Pretty good food but pretty bad service 6/29/2010

Pros : - came here for dim sum which was pretty good - perhaps the best in Seattle (although that isn't really saying a whole lot....) - the line up wasn't too long for a saturday at 12:30pm -- took 10 minutes to wait for a table even though half the restaurant was empty (i suppose the couches are for evening dining) - accepts Prime card so we got 20% off our bill which made it a good deal -- even after the 20% tip on the original amount, we each paid about 10 bucks for dim sum -- we weren't overly stuffed though. - validated parking so you don't have to waste time trying to find parking Cons: - the waiting staff was really unfriendly -- they tried to put a lot of dishes we didn't want on our table - when asking for our bill, it took nearly 30 minutes to get to back, get our credit cards swiped and then sign the receipts. usually this is the fastest part of a meal but it took forever. When we asked the waitress where the bill was, she gave us attitude -- it's COMING. - i live in Redmond so it's a required drive into Seattle more

rip-off 9/13/2006

I ate dim sum with two co-workers today...the food was good, but I won't go back. I don't need to pay for the spacious, upscale atmosphere. The three of us paid $60 for lunch!!!!! Aye, dios mio...who do they think they are? We did not over eat. I've been eating dim sum for years, in San Francisco, in Seattle, in BC. NEVER have I had to pay $20 when there was no alcohol involved! Let's get back to the atmosphere...I'd much rather eat dim sum at Jade Garden, where it's noisy, full of Chinese people, great variety, and where they are not trying to put on airs and rip me off. Puleeeeze. more
