Ever been to one of those "great food, terrible atmosphere" restaurant? The NOFO at the Pig is definitely not that place. Walking into the NOFO, you feel like you are entering a...well, a grocery store. Thing is, you are. A converted one, that is. Once a community Piggly Wiggly serving the 5 Corners neighborhood of Raleigh, this spot now serves traditional and alternative American cuisine, from standard deli cold cut sandwiches to classic Southern standards like caserole and gezpacho salads. Although the food is medium-priced, you can each for relatively cheap, provided you avoid the expensive wine list. Wine will add another ten to twenty bucks to your bill, not including your tip. Overall, this slice of Raleighcana is one you won't want to miss.
