We used to frequent all of the Pacific Coast restaurants on a regular basis, in fact, all the time. Then the group sold out to Restaurants Unlimited out of Seattle. This place went down the tubes quickly.
The prices skyrocketed. The meals used to be a decent price and included a salad. Now the meals are at least $10 more AND you have to buy a salad as an add on.
My wife and I recently tried this. We had a coupon for a free entree. By the the time we were done taking off the coupon we spent a small fortune for two entrees, two salads, and 2 beers for me and 2 glasses of wine for her. I was shocked, but then again looked at the prices for the entrees.
The whole atmosphere is just not the same either.
Restaurants Unlimited is loosing its shirt on these restaurants, and simply put, they destroyed the place, Stanfords, Manzana, and the others. Really, really disappointed.....and won't return anymore.
Pros: It used to be a good place.
Cons: Price, poor management of new owner Restaurants Unlimited
