i actually dance at mystic stepper , this dance studio is filled with friendly people. if you need help with anything from a simple turn to a back handspring they will work with you to accomplish want you wanted to do. Ive been dancing here ever since this studio has been open. i recommend it because they help you grow to be not only a dancer but as a person. I think mystic stepper stands out because of the family based studio. If your looking for a studio with friendly smiles , great dancing, and superb people you should try mystic stepper school of dance. more

With all due respect, Martin M., this is ridiculous. The fact that you dare to say that Mystic Stepper would tell your daughter "to forget about dancing with them because she couldn't spot and therefore couldn't do the numerous turns" forces me to believe that you have Mystic confused with another studio all together. #1-Mystic is more than willing to assist students and families of all ages, interests, backgrounds and levels. #2-Every member of the highly-accomplished, well-trained, award-winning Staff uses the utmost patience, tact and kindness whether inside the studio or out. #3-Mystic would NEVER tell a student to “forget about dancing.” In fact, Mystic’s explicit mission is to help EMPOWER YOUTH THROUGH THE ART OF DANCE. Every student is treated with respect and is made to feel welcome, safe, capable, confident and so much more via POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT IN A NON-JUDGMENTAL SETTING. What more would you want from a school for your child? While I wish you and your dancing daughter the best, I hope that you will rectify any negative light you may have shed on Mystic Stepper. My daughter has been dancing since she was four. She's pretty good, at least in her classes through the San Diego Civic Dance Association she's been one of the best.. She was looking for a new place to take lessons and we went to the mystic Stepper. They essentially told her to forget about dancing with them because she couldn't spot and therefore couldn't do the numerous turns. more

This is a highly competitive group that dances with the best of the best. This is not a simple little dance class, this is a group that seriously studies the art of dance. They should not be underestimated and perhaps, if you are new to dance, you may want to seek training elsewhere as this group is made up of highly trained dancers. more
