I'm a fan of Nordstroms and I've always avoided the Mission Valley Rack despite the great discounts. The store looks like Nordstrom employees threw a huge party the night before, trashing the place. They all seem over-worked, grumpy and you can't get assistance unless you somehow manage to corner someone.
Recently, I discovered the San Marcos Rack at Grand Plaza off the 78 at Las Posas. Wow, what a difference! Better selection, helpful staff and organization has made this place my all-time fave for amazing deals.
I don't have to fight the crowds & other shoppers, everything is in it's place and the line is always shorter. Sure, I still have to wait in line for a bit, but it's worth getting a $250 Coach bag for less than half price. Check it out, I highly recommend it :-)

i LOVE this store. it's a must everytime i'm in san diego or the bay area. the t-shirts are cool and catchy. the shoes are cool. the books are nifty. the furniture is awesome. the brands sold here are great, from zoo york to penguin to le tigre to triple 5 soul. the prices are fair. this store quite honestly, just rocks.

I love this cute little pet boutique. The owners are very sweet and personable (although their little chihuahua isn't so much...just joking!). They have a limited selection, but the stuff they have is just fantastic. I love getting treats, toys and trendy collars for my doggies. Everytime I go in there, they remember me and my dogs names'. Very impressive, highly recommended. You can even email them a photo of your pets and they'll include it in their slideshow that runs on a bigscreen behind the register. How wonderful!

She is a very nice lady and I love talking to her and for me, it would be my 4th time seeing her she is fast and reliable and she will see you any hour of the day.
If you don?t want to spend that much money at her salon by your own extensions like I do and save money.

Old Navy is a good place to go clothes shopping. The prices are very reasonable and a lot of times they have sales and deals that cannot be beat by thrift stores! My only complaint is that occasionally the store gets really messy and out of order during peak times as this location is located inside of a 2 story mall that is very large. Parking is free in the mall parking structures. I like this particular location because they also have Old Navy Maternity located inside and not all of our locations do.

My fiancé and I were treated well – we went there to look for tuxedos for the groomsmen in the wedding party. When we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed – very friendly! We were offered very reasonable prices for good quality tuxedos; there is quite a variety of tuxedos, too. I recommend this store to anyone who is getting married and needs to find tuxedos!

After a horrible first experience trying on wedding gowns I went to A Nite on the Town- and LOVED my experience there! I found the dress I wanted for about $90 less then anywhere else I'd been (I bought mine for only $106!!!). I was treated with respect and the wonderful sales lady (Lana) didn't make any comments about the fact that I was choosing to purchase a BM dress rather then a wedding gown to save some money, the complete opposite happened at the first shop! I was told the dress would take four months to come in, but two months later it was here! I wanted to get some alterations done and was told that would take a month (I was changing a zipper back to a corset back). 6 days later I was able to take the dress home- completely altered! Also, I came in with my MOH who isn't getting married until April of 2009, but Lana encouraged her to try on a dress and just see how they feel, even though she won't be buying for at least a year! We will be back next year for her dress, for sure.
Pros: Great prices and great service!
Cons: None I can think of!

My experience at the Pink Zone was great! I go to Cali. almost every summer so i always have this store on my to do list. The Pink Zone met my expectations of, chick clothing, friendly service, and best of all low prices! I just know they have the cutest clothing in town, (specifically their cartoon tee's.) When I go back to school in fall everyone asks me where I get my posh clothes and i just wink and say. California. I recommend the Pink Zone to any body who loves cute,affordable clothes and great service!
