We try to get to two Padres home games a season. While I enjoy watching the Padres, it's the ballpark that I am in love with. There are great food options at the park and I like to walk around and take in the view of downtown and the bay. The "park at the park" is a nice lawn area with hill where families can have a picnic and watch the game on a big screen. Take me out to this ball game any day!

Oh the Chargers! Chargers games are great when you watch them on TV, but when you go out to the game; it’s a whole other story. The level of excitement at a Pro-Football game is un-matched. You will never give so many random high five as you will at a chargers game. Only drawback is that they are expensive, really expensive.

Del Mar Thoroughbred Club is a thoroughbred racetrack in in the seaside city of Del Mar, California, and approximately 20 miles north of San Diego. It is known for the slogan, "Where The Turf Meets The Surf." It was built by a partnership including Bing Crosby, the actor Pat O'Brien, and Jimmy Durante.
The track races from July to September and draws heavy crowds, especially on opening day. It's definitely the best racing venue in town.

Catch a sale and you are doing good. If you have recently started playing lacrosse you already know the gear is costly. South Swell is a great place to go if you don't know what exactly you are looking for. The staff if very friendly and knowledgeable in all area's and will be able to help you pick out the perfect stick. I still tend to make most of my purchases of lacrosse gear online since west cost is the slow coast when it comes to lacrosse. If I want to get my hands on the item and avoid shipping cost South Swell is my place.

Solid Rock is the kind of workout you don't even know you are doing because you are having so much fun. If you don't have your own equipment, it is very much like the bowling alley where they tack on charges for additional items (the belayer, shoe rental, chalk bag, etc.) As mentioned they do change the layout of the holds so if you go here once a month it is completely different each time. They offer memberships as well which reduce the costs further. It is recommended you go here with a partner to spot you.

The Mission Bay Sportscenter offers a variety of water sports including kayaking, sailing, and jet skiing. I came here for a moonlight kayak that lasted a few hours. It was beautiful! You can rent equipment from them and they also offer lessons. I went in a large group and am a student, so they offered us a discount.

This is a very good center for the study of Tang Soo Do Karate. The instructor is very serious about his lessons but his students enjoy his class a lot. This would be a great place to send a teen or pre-teen who made need some confidence or a safe way to burn energy.
