Dr. Summy To is the real deal. Her and her staff genuinely care about what they do, and they do it well. Their location on N. Williams is great to. Ten stars.

Female-owned business, so you know their frames are cute. Not too many for children, this is definitely a sophisticated shop, but the service is very down-to-earth. Cool store in a trendy neighborhood. If you want to get quality eye care and frame options and want a good selection, come here. more

Great Location, Great Office, Great Service 8/24/2010

Dr. Summy To and her office manager, Alaina, are the dream team of optometry. From the moment I called to schedule, I was treated with kindness and respect and a friendly professionalism that felt down-to-earth and sincere. Dr. Summy To didn't rush me through and she used all the newest technology available ... all at a reasonable cost. They have an impressive selection of eyewear from very hip to more traditional. Myoptic is located in a spanking new, super cool building right on the N. Williams corridor. Great for riding your bike to. Great location, great service, great choice of eyewear... by far the most pleasant optometry appointment I've ever had! more

Fantastic doctor, great location 4/30/2010

I had not had an eye exam in years, but when I began to have some troubling conditions, I contacted Dr. Summy To who saw me quickly, provided a very thorough exam, gave me explanations I could understand, and made the entire experience very pleasant. Her new shop is bright and cheery, and the service is excellent. My husband has been a patient for nearly 4 years and we will definitely return. Pros: Caring, thorough exams more

Warm, Friendly, Caring OD 2/25/2009

I've worn contacts for about fourteen years now, and a few months after my move to Portland, I had some eye/contact issues, which called for an urgent visit to the optometrist. I called about seven different places (Pearl Vision, Sears Optical, JC Penny Optical, other private practices, etc.), looking for the most affordable place, and Dr. To offered the best price I could find. At the examination, she was caring, kind, and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Not only that, but when it came to purchasing new boxes, she suggested that I shop around, and find the best price before I chose to purchase them from her. She is the most personable, caring, and down-to-earth doctor I've ever been to. Thanks! more

Feel good about seeing your eye doctor! 5/28/2008

After a recent move to Portland, I needed to find an eye doctor in my neighborhood that was compatible with my insurance plan. Good thing I found Eagle Eye Optical and Dr. To! Everyone in the office is so helpful and accommodating, and Dr. To is an absolute pleasure to visit. She listened to every question I asked and had excellent advice, especially on how to treat my eyes better when working all day at a computer. All the eyewear is affordable and there is a good selection for all styles. Overall, Dr. To is great and so is Eagle Eye Optical - highly recommended! more

Dr. To is incredible 2/6/2008

I have typically relied upon the big chain optical stores for eye exams. Recently I had an emergency and needed to see someone quickly. I did an internet search and found Dr. To's website. My co-workers thought I was crazy to pick a doctor based on a website. They were probably right, but I am so glad that my search lead me to Dr. To. She is simply amazing. She was able to see me the same day and although she was busy, she took the time to provide a thorough exam. It was not the typical ""get in and get out"" exam I have received elsewhere. She was kind, concerned, and caring. Most of all, I really liked the fact that I was able to support a local business that also gives back to local non-profit organizations. I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. To or my experience at her practice. I highly recommend Dr. To. more

That was a doctor's visit? 5/8/2007

She was great: knowledgeable, informative, comfortable atmosphere, funny, and non-elitist! She answered all of my questions thoroughly and provided insight on products that I wish I had known about years before today. Finish off the visit with a more than reasonable fee and a repeat customer was born. Highly recommended, of course. Pros: Great personality, selection of eyewear and contacts, donation program Cons: None so far more
