This place was great - it is not easy to get to and is very discreet looking, but once you find it, it is well worth it! The veal tortellini with gorgonzola sauce was rich and wonderful - and at $11, an absolute bargain. Portions are perfect, not too small, not too large. My husband had the spinach ravioli in nutmeg and butter sauce - yum as well! Excellent homemade bean and garlic soup and we shared the tirimisu for dessert, which was excellent. Service is a little slow, but they cook to order and it is well worth the wait. Relax, make sure to BYOB and remember cash only! Our bill was $40 and the whole experience was excellent.
Pros: inexpensive, great value, food is excellent
Cons: South Philly parking
