This place has good Pakistani food. Some of my Arab friends love to eat here as according to them the meat is Halal ( I think it means kosher). Pros: wide selection Cons: sporadic service more

Terrific Lunch Buffet 8/20/2008

Really enjoyed our recent lunch. Offered a small but adequate selection. Distinct spices and flavors in each offering. Naan was nicely prepared. Try the rice pudding, which, even without my glasses, I should have been able to distinguish from raita. Price can't be beat. Pros: Busy lunch place so fresh buffet items Cons: None more

Yuck 5/10/2008

When we lived in Bellevue ten years ago, this was one of our favorite places. We just moved back six months ago and have tried Mogul Palace twice just to make sure. The food is no longer good -- both times were a big disappointment. What happened? The lamb I had on the second visit must have been weeks old; it was dry, tough and tasteless. Cons: food is not tasty more

RUDE and expensive 5/3/2008

very rude server and arguing boss. They dont know to do a good business. the food is micro waved and not fresh. they overcharged and when asked they reduced price and forced to pay tip!!!. any one can go there and experice the same if you dont belive. Yes for sure Pros: down town Cons: rude and expesive , smelly , no taste more

Worst Indian restaurant in Seattle and expensive too! 3/10/2007

The Roti was burnt, the reshmi kabab was stale and tasted chewy and when we called for someone, the owner took a bite of it from our plate and started defending.even the chicken biryani which the waiter recommended was pathetic and stale. We eat out a lot and we can easily tell the difference between fresh food and microwaved food....It was microwaved ....It was anything but a chicken biryani........We spent $ 50 for two + a three yr old.We did NOT like it leave alone enjoying the food....Not recommended...Awful waste of money...We have never left without tip...My husband is very generous about that but this was the first time we didnt leave a tip as we think they did not desreve it......Chutney's I think is better value for money...Fresh food, friendly waiters and nice ambience.I think Seattle has a good variety of Indian restaurants not only in the downtown area but also in the Eastside....We did not like the owner arguing that a dish is good without wanting to know what is wrong........Highly not recommended...Bad taste!! Dont know if BillG really goes there or must have been there once like us. Pros: location in Bellevue Downtown Cons: Bad food .....No value for money more

Mediocre food. Below Average Service 1/21/2007

I have been here a few times and have never been impressed. Apparently this is Bill Gates' favorite Indian restaurant and I am not sure why. I think Gates must try Mayuri in Bellevue or some in the UW area. Cons: service more

After all these years 12/18/2005

We've eaten here for 6 years. Occasionally we get it to go, they would screw up one of the dishes by putting peppers in it when I specifically asked them twice not to. Last week we ordered food, It was awful, No one could eat it, I had to throw it away. I called the owner ,he said, he'll take care of us. I went to have him, 'take care' of the charge. He said, ""I can't credit your charge back, don't you want more food?"" I told him, that we no longer could eat there. He said, ""well, I told you I would take care of you and give you food"" I told him again, we didn't want the food anymore, just a credit. He took my receipt and tore it up and gave me the cash for the meal back, and was very rude about it. more

How Rude! 8/29/2005

Wow! I thought this would be a great place for our rehearsal dinner. My fiancee' is Seek and thought it would be a nice treat for her parents. So I called to see if they could accomodate a large crowd. Unfortunately when the host answered i had a short lapse of vocabulary. For a split second I couldn't think of the word I was searching for. I know, I know. ""Group"" is not that hard a word to remember but all the same... Anyway, the host says ""I am very busy!"" in an aggravated voice. So I appologized and then he hung up on me. The manager didn't seem to concerned with this. Cons: Rude service more

ALWAYS A GREAT PLACE FOR LUNCH! 6/7/2005

This is one of the nicer places for Indian food that I've gone to in the state of Washington. The food is consistantly great and the service is too. It's a great place to take someone that has never had Indian food and it's always a great place to go to at lunch time. It's not too big and it's not too small and it's nice and clean. The owner is always happy to see you and they go out of their way to make room for children. Pros: great every time Cons: 40 minutes from house more
