Best Indian restaurant on the Eastside! 5/19/2005

Everything I have ever ordered has been wonderful! Their entrees are all delicious and flavorful, with just the right spices. The restaurant is pleasant and the waiters are polite and prompt. Pros: Great food, Good location, Great Masala Cons: Close early sometimes more

Average Food 5/19/2004

The food is average. My fav is the chicken tika masala, the sause is good but it goes cold really fast as they dont heat it up all the way. The naans are really good. The chicken tendoori is good but its mostly bones with little bit chicken on it. The service could improve, last time I was there It took 10 minutes for the waiters to show up so I could ask for more naan. The waiters where talking to each other and not paying attention to the customers. Overall is average food and service. more

STILL ONE OF THE BEST... 5/13/2004

This place is awesome and has been consistent over the 4 yrs. that we have been going there. The owner is a gem and always makes you feel like he is delighted you have returned. He always asks how your family is and remembers small details about you. Our favorite dishes are chx tika masala, tandori chx., chx rashimi kabab, onion pakoras, meat samosas, and the garlic naan. The chutneys are great with a selection of mint, tamarind, and a spicy variety. Dishes come with a choice of heat - (we always order x-tra hot) and the service is wonderful. Our favorite Indian on the eastside next to our other fav. Indian on the west side! Pros: true indian cuisine, excellent service, decent prices more

Rates out very high 1/30/2004

I'll update my earlier review since it's been awhile. Sometimes the standard restaurants don't get much review action, because there's little to say if the quality is consistently fine, and it is here. I made a pilgrimage to 20-25 Indian restaurants a couple of years back, and MP ended up in the top five. Since then two have taken a dive, so make it the top three, and I think pretty obviously the tops in Bellevue. I can't think of any standard Indian dish that isn't done very well here. They're a little heavy on the cilantro, so ask them to leave if off if it grates your teeth like it does mine. Pros: consistently fine more

Melts in your mouth!!! 8/28/2002

I've been there a million times, and I still keep coming back. There's a reason why this is a favorite hangout of Bill Gates. The food is amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is as nice as they come. I only wish their location was a little better, so more people would get the chance to experience it.
