Mike really knows his stuff! Fully checked out our 9 year old furnace and found some potential trouble spots, one of which, a fuel distribution malfunction (you could smell the gas), needed to be dealt with immediately. He did not have the part in his truck but was able to get it delivered within the hour and the job was completed satisfactorily. Mike was very careful to wear over boot covers when in the home and left the job site cleaner than how he found it. Thanks Mike, great work. more

This was my first experience with Minneapolis St. Paul Pliumbing and Heating. While the cost were a little on the higher end, these men did aim to please. Mike Morris wrote up the bid on his ipad. After the bid was signed, they began work that day with a fully stocked truck full of plumbing supplies. They were clean, professional and efficient. Brian recently sealed all my ducts and today he did my furnace inspection. I was unaware that the humidifier was not connected to the thermostat and it was going on at odd times. Turns out it is very old and works on a manually controlled switch. I was wondering why I was getting mold on my windows when they were all steamed up in the winter. I tried lowering the switch but you have to adjust it everyday whereas the new ones take care of this automatically. I am glad I am getting this fixed. more

Jeremy came right out for what I thought was an emergency leak. He was calm and thorough. After examining everything he showed me it was just a large workout mug of water spilled behind some furniture and leaked into the basement. Since he did not fix anything he charged me the minimum amount. These people are awesome. more

Being charged $1,830 for a simple hook up of my sink and purchasing a garbage disposal is absolutely outrageous especially when the sink was already in place! I scheduled an appointment to have Minneapolis St. Paul Plumbing, Heating and Air come out to my house to hook up my new sink and existing garbage disposal on 9/4/14. When I called, they said that it would be $88 for them to come and said that it would be deducted from any services that we had performed. I understand this charge. When the service technician came out, he said that he would need to rework the small amount of PVC piping and install a garbage disposal (that we ended up purchasing from them) to the other side of the sink. He was here for less than 90 minutes and charged us $1,830 for the work. In having a consultation with another plumbing company (because I felt like we were disgustingly overcharged), they confirmed my suspicion that we had been grossly overcharged for the work and materials. I do not have a problem paying for products and services that are fair and consistent with their competitors. Unfortunately, Minneapolis St. Paul Plumbing, Heating and Air is consistently overcharging customers for basic services. I am not looking for a full refund. I believe in paying for quality products and services. Everything was in place so the technician did not have to physically put in the sink or anything like that. For less than 90 minutes of work, purchasing a garbage disposal and PVC piping, I should not have even paid half of what they charged. more

These folks responded very rapidly when our a/c died. Once we learned it could not be resurrected, they ordered a new one which was delivered later that day and full installation was completed by the next day. We were very pleased. They even cleaned up after themselves. It wasn't cheap, but it was the only type of a/c we could use given our heating system. We were given a discount since we are on an annual maintenance with them. more

When our AC went out on Thursday evening, I was impressed that at 9:30pm MSPPHA picked up the phone and I was able to schedule an appointment for the following day. I received a call to confirm my appointment the next morning, and another call to give me a 30 minute heads up. Brain was knowledgeable, polite, and a willing to show me what was wrong and communicated what he was doing. My only criticism is that there was a sales aspect of the house call. After a range of solutions was presented (good), an on the spot decision was sought out that was more aggressive than necessary. All in all a positive experience and the AC is working better than it has in years. more
