Our family has been going to Dr. Bell for 20 years and here's why we keep going back. Like most, I hate going in for dental work, but Dr. Bell and his staff cater to my need to ""zone out"" as much as possible. They make an effort to know you and care about what's going on in your life, so even though I still don't like to go have work done, the staff is so sweet and friendly they make it more than bearable. Dr. Bell is an excellent dentist and he and his staff are very professional but also very personable, and they will give you options for treatment (if available). The cost is more than if we went to a dentist covered completely by our insurance, but I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!\r more

The staff and Dr. Bell were all very upbeat and friendly, as they typically are. My hygienist Lou Ann is so much fun and I also enjoy visiting with Sarah and Theresa at the front desk. And Dr. Bell is the best. It is always a pleasant experience when I go to this dental office - and that's why I have been a patient of Dr. Bell for over 20 years.\r more

I've been a patient with Dr. Bell since moving to Austin a couple of years ago. The fillings I had done last year were absolutely painless. He's very professional and skilled at what he's doing! His staff is excellent as well. It's another sign of quality when his team is just as sharp and professional. For example, Rachael did an awesome job cleaning my teeth yesterday. Also very skilled and felt not even the slightest pinch or pain during the entire time. The office management staff is great as well. Sarah and Theresa are always cheerful and handle my claims with my insurance company flawlessly and immediately! I'm very happy to have Dr. Bell and his team for my dental care.\r more

After making an attempt to visit another dentist whose office was much closer logisttically, I immediately realized that I needed to return to my former dentist Dr. Bell. The approach is to their patients is one of friendliness and respect as well as providing a comfortable environment. I will continue to use Dr. Bell's services.\r more

Another GREAT Dental visit 6/1/2011

I can't believe that I am saying this but I love going to the dentist. I lay in a massage chair while my dental \r hygienist cleans my teeth. The atmosphere in the office is so comfortable with the picture windows and views of the Austin greenbelt. I love watching the squirrels and birds. I can't wait to see my dental friends in 6 months.\r I will recommend Dr. Bell to everyone I know in Austin who is looking for a fabulous dentist. more

Best Dentist in Austin texas 6/1/2011

Dr Bell has been my dentist for over 14 years, He is the best cosmetic dentist I have ever been to since moving to Austin. He does dental implants and has an awsome staff! He just added an new 3D cone beam x-ray machine , its so cool you can see your teeth and jaw in such detail... Dr Bell really is on the cutting edge of dentistry . He always wants the very best for his patients. I look forward to my next dental visit to see what new and cutting edge technology he brings into his office. \r \r Thank you Dr Bell for my beautiful smile!! more

Dr. Bell is a great Dentist! I had a wonderful visit to his beautiful Dental office and was treated like a King. I would recommend this Dentist to anyone looking for a Dentist in Austin or surrounding areas; A Dentist like this is worth the trip! The ladies at the front desk were so nice as well! Best Dentist in Austin maybe the Best Dentist in the World! 12/10/2010

Michael C. Bell is the Best Dentist in Austin! He might just be the Best Dentist in the world! I have been seeing him regularly for cleanings and regular check-ups and he would always say he could fix my smile if I wanted. I had the worst yellow and crooked smile imaginable. I finally took the Dentist up on his offer and now I look amazing and my teeth are as white as snow!! Whether for Cosmetic or General Dentistry, this Dentist delivers amazing results! I have found my Dentist 11/30/2010

I started going to Michael Bell based on reviews and I am very pleased to have found my dentist. The office is state of the art, with massage chairs, televisions/headsets and new technology. My hygeniest was very gentle, but quick. She also remembered everything we talked about on my second visit. Dr. Bell did not keep me waiting, took his time with me, and I swear is the first dentist I have seen in years that didn't immediately feel the need to do major work. That made me happy too! They also gave me a free whitening kit -- I have since sent two more people his way. more

Great Dentist 11/3/2010

Dr Bell and Staff are GREAT! The staff is so friendly and informative. The office is beautifully located and bright and clean on the inside. Everything is state of the art! My dental hygenist knows her stuff and is always really nice. She remembers things about me from my previous visits and always asks. Dr. Bell seems to be thorough and though I have yet to have any major work done with him, I'm sure he'd do a great job. I'm also doing teeth whitening with them. So great! more

The staff and Dentist are friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. The facility is refreshingly clean, beautiful, and relaxing. From the moment you walk in to Dr. Bell's dental office you feel welcome and taken care of. He is such an experienced Dentist with years and years of service as a Dentist here in Austin, Texas. I would highly recommend this Dentist to any of my friends and family. more

MY FAMILY IS FINISHED WITH DR. BELL!!!! HISTORY!!! 12/30/2008

I am not usually the person to share reviews on here but I felt the need to share my experience with Dr. Bell. I was a patient at his office for years and so was my family. I referred people to his office who ended up leaving and now I know why. I recently had a cracked tooth and he suggested putting a crown on the tooth. I saw no problem with this and a few days later had the surgery. After the surgery I pointed out that I thought he had put the crown on the wrong tooth and he said I was confused. I asked for an x-ray and it showed that the crown was indeed on the wrong tooth. I then watched him continue to not admit that he had made a mistake. Meanwhile his assistants even tell him that he was wrong. I went to Dr. Bell for twenty years and to this day the man has not admitted his mistake. He refused to give me a refund. He made his choice and he will be sorry, very sorry. He messed with the wrong person this time. He is in WAY OVER HIS HEAD. Pros: experience Cons: expensive bills, his ego, old equipment more
