Best

port tenderloin is simply fabulous

Masa can be a regular spot for me to go on Friday nights. The bartenders are usually AWESOME!! educated sweethearts... with great knowledge and attentiveness. Just recently I was ...

Overrated 4/16/2008

We were terribly disappointed with our dining experience. The service was slow and when our food finally came out, half of our party’s entrées were cold. The worst part however was the rudeness of the staff. We were asked to leave our table as soon as the bill was signed and then the restaurant was unable to locate a few of our coats. The lucky few of us whose coats that they could track down were asked to wait outside in the cold until they found the rest about 10 minutes later. It was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I left feeling incredibly insulted and still hungry! more

Masa 1/14/2007

Let me be clear. The food deserves over 4 stars. The service can be 1 to 3. I walked out of there once after waiting for seemingly a very long time, but I do believe in redemption. The food is interesting from the salad with a Mexican flair to the creative aps. The tuna main dish is some of the best that I have ever tasted. It is food that is not duplicated elsewhere So if you go and have a service issue, scream, because it may be worth it more

Tapas & Sangria 4/16/2006

Admittedly, this place is first a restaurant and second a bar. However, I prefer the latter aspect about this place. While the sit down dining is good, I prefer the bar area because of the different menu. Here, you can order $1 tapas from an ever-changing menu. Of course, it's impossible to decide on which tapas you want, so you can just get the tapas combo platter for $10. (Just be forewarned that $1 = small. They're more like bite-sized snacks.) Pair it with an endless supply of carafes of sangria, and you're set for the evening. more

Pretty good 4/13/2006

The entrees are pricey, but the tapas are not. If you go, get the tapas sampler (it's 10 for $10). They're bite sized tapas, but I've been told they're great. I myself, being a vegetarian, have been unable to partake. Instead, I shell out $15+ for the veggie entree (which while good, probably isn't worth it). The sangria rocks though! They have Salsa nights on Thursday. Their brunch menu on the weekends is also very reasonable ($9.99) for 3 courses. The restaurant's really dark though. more

If you love Mexican!! 2/10/2006

This is a restaurant for a special occasion, pricey, but worth every penny!! I suggest making reservations before you go, if you don't you WILL wait for a table. The spicy crusted rare cooked Tuna was to die for!! If you are looking for true mexican this is the place for you. more

Food is good but service isn't so good 9/4/2005

Made a reservation but they did not let us get seated until the entire party arrives despite the fact that over half of the party was present and 50% of the restaurant was still empty. They took a long time to bring us the food. We were all started to starve. Do not order pork chops. If you call well done, it will be charcoaled on the outside but still pinkish inside. Try the fish dishes, those taste good. The butter they serve with their bread is very delicious! Decent size entrees, filling enough for the price you pay. more
