As a graduate and now employee of this institution, I can honestly say it's a very worthwhile experience. The campus is beautiful, the classes interesting, and the people even more so. If you're interested in a small liberal arts college, check this out...don't let the single-sex thing deter you! It's really a life-altering place, and one that will change your perspective of the world.

Why? Because there's no order to their clothing! Everything's mixed up, so if you like something, and pull it out to check the tag, it'll be $150, but pull out the shirt next to it and it's only $20. I hate going here because they carry such cute things, but I always leave mad that I can't afford the things I actually want. Very tricky how they shuffle the cheap stuff in with the expensive stuff. Then this is the place for you. There are many cheap things to be had here, you just have to expend some effort to find what suits your tastes. Their automatic markdown system is a catch 22...I almost never buy anything because I feel the need to wait till it goes down more, since they tell you the exact day and amount it'll be marked down. Tricky! They also have some kind of yearly bridal sale that's supposed to be madness.

The chain maintains good quality across the board from what I've seen. The food's interesting, but gets old fast. Beware the pizzas that come with salads on top of them (they tend to over do it on the dressing). The soups aren't bad here. The honey wheat pizza dough is yummy. As far as pizzas go...try the gorgonzola and pear one (but ask them to put the dressing on the side, or skip the greens on top of it all together). Service is prompt, but they get a lot of families and shoppers, so there can be waiting.

Average is how I would describe it...They tend to get a good crowd because of their location (they attract both the tourists and the after-work crowd). It's pretty big, they have an upstairs and downstairs, as well as a portion that's called "Parris" and is supposed to be more like a club, I think. Beats me what the difference is exactly, since they're attached. It's worth a trip if you're in the area, might as well check it out. Rather like John Harvard's.

If you're expecting the Kong at Faneuil Hall to be like the one at Harvard, prepare to be disappointed. They serve a small and pretty crappy menu (if it's any indication, they have quesadillas on the menu), the drinks are ok, but the atmosphere is what one might describe as "dingy" and "dank." Unless you like caves, these are not complimentary words. They have karaoke, and since it's such a tiny space, get ready for some wannabe singers. It's kind of a dive. I would suggest the Harvard location instead if you're willing to brave the college kids.
