So I blame this place for they freshman 10, oh who am I kidding? freshman 20 I gained. They have the best in the world!!! If you've never tried it before go RIGHT NOW. It blows Ben & Jerry's out of the water. I no longer live in the area, but I can still remember the taste when it touches your lips for the first time and melts in your mouth. If I ever go back to visit, I'll make sure this place is on my top places to go. So who cares if you gain ten or twenty pounds, everyone does when they are a freshman. Wouldn't you rather gain it from ice cream than beer? more

If you haven't heard of it... 8/18/2005

... you've probably just arrived in town. Everyone knows about Mallard's. I wouldn't be surprised if directions to the place are handed out with every "Welcome to Bellingham" guide pack. I'm not sure why I'm bothering to write a review, except perhaps to remind you to head down there and grab a scoop of mint chocolate cookie ice cream if you haven't done so recently. more

Homemade Icecream 8/18/2005

This has got to be some of the best ice cream I've had. And even better, the price is right. When you compare the price of this homemade ice cream to the chain type ice cream companies, Mallad's ice cream wins hands down. They have unique flavors such as coconut almond chocolate which is delicious with pineapple ice cream. Try all the different flavors, and by different I mean different than what you might normally find (strawberry, birthday cake, etc). Don't be turned off by the appearance of the inside of this place, they obviously put all their money into making good ice cream. more

The best ice cream 8/15/2005

Mallard Ice Cream and cafe has the best ice cream in this area. The choices of flavors are many and you can have toppings on your ice cream. Sundaes and milk shakes and banana splits are available. The waffle cones are home made and very good and as always you can choose the sugar cone or just the dip by itself. Great service and good prices! more

Best ice cream cone 7/8/2005

By far, the best ice cream in Bellingham. Made from high quality ingredients -- i even noticed organic fruit flavors. lots of fun flavors like mocha oreo cookie, pear sorbet and a fantastic peanut butter. Waffle cones are an excellent choice and the prices are reasonable. A family friendly place too! more
