This store has so much stuff in it, that if you don't know what you are looking for, you can easliy get lost looking around. It's mostly a scrapbooking store, and they have an area where they do seminars or classes on how to create scrapbook pages and cards. They also have a die cut area, that you can use with your own paper, or paper you've purchased here.
I am not a scrapbooker, but this store has a lot of other things for the crafter and even can inspire the non-scrapbooker to try something new. The staff isn't just someone off the street, but someone who does scrapbooking so they know the products they sell. This is a great place to shop.

I never knew there were so many beads until I came here. It's like a bulk bead store. You can buy lots of beads, or if you like, one single bead. They have everything you need to make any item you can imagine. While the single bead prices are really good - and it's nice to be able to buy only what you need, be warned that as you pick up one bead here and one bead there...it adds up quickly. This is a good place to start if you want to try beading because you can buy one of what you need instead of having to buy and entire package of stuff that you don't even know if you'll like or know how to do.

This is two different things in one...the tea room, where you can get tea and pastries and the painting room where you can paint bisque pieces to be glazed and fired.
I have not tried the tea room, though I have tried to order from the tea room. I have painted here and when we tried to order drinks for while we were painting we were told that we couldn't eat or drink while we were painting. We didn't have any kids with us so I'm not sure why we couldn't drink while we painted. You would think that it would only benefit them if they were to allow it...not only would we be buying their food and drinks, but we might stay longer and paint more than one piece. So if you come to paint, be sure you eat and drink before starting.
This painting room feels more upscale, like artists would come here to paint. It doesn't feel like a place that I could take my neice and be silly and paint fun pieces. The prices were decent and I would go here again, but I wouldn't bring any kids along because I don't think they could go very long sitting in a place that serves food and drink and not be able to get anything.

This is a good place to cool off in the summertime, however with more and more people moving to the area this waterslide park feels smaller and smaller each time I go. On hot days when kids are out of school this park is filled up fast. You have to ride an innertube down each slide and there aren't enough tubes to go around so you have to wait in line at the bottom of the slides for an available tube. This makes it so you can't go down and right back up again on a slide. I think this park could easily expand and still do good business. Right now there are 4 main slides and 2 speed slides and some kiddie slides, with a kiddie pool and hot tub. It should expand, but it is fun for kids of all ages anyway.

I've been going here for several years for my exams and puchase of glasses and contacts. I like going here because I can get my new glasses in about a week. They people are friendly and the doctor is very nice. The only downside is that they don't have a huge selection of frames, but they do tell you if a frame looks good on you or not. They service the glasses well and when there's been a repair needed you can walk in and most times they can help you right away.

While this is known as a gay bar, it is the best bar in town whether you are gay or straight. For one...it's clean and it doesn't feel slummy and two, it's got great dancing and the people are even better. I have never gone here and NOT had a good time. I actually wish that there were more bars like this one, it is one of a kind. You will have a good time.

Even if you aren't a fan of race cars or sprint cars, you can't help but to have fun at Skagit Speedway. Each Saturday night they have races around a track that's small enough to create excitement with each race. While they water down the track at the beginning of the night, depending on how hot it is that day by the end of the night you have dirt flying everywhere - so bring goggles to protect your eyes and something for your ears as it can be pretty loud.
This is definitely something you can bring the kids to do. There is a grassy knoll that the kids like to play on and roll down so they can stay busy while you are watching the races. It's a fun night out for the entire family.

This is a good place to eat lunch, but it's iffy if you want to eat here on a lunch hour. They aren't all that quick if you go in a big group. The one time I ate there with a group of people, they took forever to get our food and then when they did bring it, they dumped mine all over the floor so I ended up having to bring it back to work to eat.
The food is pretty good at best. Not the greatest, but not bad either. I like the decor inside and they have a drive up window which is nice too.
The prices seem a little high, but you do get a lot of food for your money.

I bought my wedding dress here because it was the one I wanted and the price was right. However, I wouldn't say that this was my favorite bridal shop. The staff is very snooty. They aren't as friendly as another bridal shop in town and they don't seem to like kids in their store. It wasn't as much fun trying on dresses here (and we all know that trying on dresses is half the fun!), but they had what I wanted. I didn't feel like I could bring all my girlfriends to see me try on my dresses, like I could at other stores. It almost felt like a library in there - be quiet, try on the dress and then buy what you want. They didn't get excited when you tried on the dress and they would tell you a dress looked good on you, whether it did or not. Luckily I did have my mom and sister-in-law there to tell me the truth.
They did allow me to return my veil after it was purchased and exchanged for a different length, but they didn't seem too happy about it.
They don't have much in stock and they only carry one size so if you try on a dress that's a size 6 and you aren't a size 6, it can be tough imagining what it would look like on you.
It's not a bad place to shop, I did buy my dress here, but it's not as much fun to shop here for your wedding dress, but do look here because they did have a dress that I couldn't get at the other place.

The Formal House has the best selection of in stock tuxedos and suits - yes, suits. They were able to fully dress all the men in my wedding party who ranged from a 9 year old boy, 3 feet tall to my husband at 6'7" and all the men in between and all sizes. They really have great customer service, and the sizes in stock are nice, which is why we went to them when we needed a suit for the Governor's Ball. We had originally gone to a warehouse store for a suit and they looked at my husband at 6'7", 175 lbs and laughed at him, saying that they don't make suits for someone like him (apparently there is no such thing as a tall, skinny guy). We went to the Formal House and they went in the back and got the suit and fitted my husband and had it all ready when we picked it up. If we ever needed another suit or tuxedo we won't go anywhere else but here.
