I've been attending Cornwall church since the 5th grade and I absolutely love it. The head pastor is really funny but definitly knows his sermons and preaches relevant stuff to todays world. The youth program is amazing starting from when I first attended in 5th grade until I left when I graduated high school. It was something that I looked forward to going to every week and have fun with friends and learn about God. I hope that others find that this Church and youth group are just as amazing as I found them to be. The pastorial staff and leaders are very friendly and loving people that make you feel welcome.

The productions are professional and include great actors and actresses. You will almost feel as if you might be enjoying a broadway show! The best thing are the prices, I do not think I have paid more than $40 for a single event. Check out the events online.

Each month the local SPJ offers networking events called Press Club Nights. Once a month a group of 20 to 50 journalists and media specialists gather together to network, meet, greet, and share ideas. The events are free and are open to freelancers, members of the media, media staff and journalism students and faculty. These casual two-hour networking events are usually held at an area restaurant in Skagit or Whatcom County. To find out where the next event is being held, visit this link:

This local non-profit organization does excellent work and has a great and easy to use website. I requested an application and it was mailed to my house within two days. Wonderful service! I also signed up for an evening workshop and all my interactions with the office were prompt and professional. Take a look at all their resources!
