i never saw the skeezy filth, and ive never been afraid to order or eat there, even my 80 year old grandma loves the place. ive been going at least once a month to get my potato burrito fix, since i moved to bellingham 3 years ago. ive never been treated badly, or had trouble getting any service.
Pros: can get busy and crowded at meal time
Cons: amazing food at a great price

I really liked the late nite service when we showed up just before closing time.
Our server treated us with very quick cold beer and a killer 1/2 and 1/2 pizza and made sure we were happy.
The clean restaurant made the other pizza joints in the area look pretty bad.
To top things off the location made parking really easy and we left feeling good. :-)

I went to BB the first time last year while visiting the area, then again this summer (2006), and it's still the best alehouse around, I think! They don't call their beer sampler a "flight" as in some other places I've been, but it's still the best way to get a decent sampling of all of their fine brews, which I will be missing very much until the next time I'm there! The food is also top-line, creative menu and plentiful, and the new beer garden looks to be a most promising summer hangout.

So I blame this place for they freshman 10, oh who am I kidding? freshman 20 I gained. They have the best in the world!!! If you've never tried it before go RIGHT NOW. It blows Ben & Jerry's out of the water. I no longer live in the area, but I can still remember the taste when it touches your lips for the first time and melts in your mouth. If I ever go back to visit, I'll make sure this place is on my top places to go. So who cares if you gain ten or twenty pounds, everyone does when they are a freshman. Wouldn't you rather gain it from ice cream than beer?

This is my very first review on CitySearch, inspired by this truly great little restaurant. Honestly, its so hard to find good Greek food anywhere, that I wasn't expecting much. The interior was a little bit cheesy, but someone put a lot of effort into it. The service was fantastic! It was honestly the friendliest service I've had in a long time anywhere. I ordered the Lamb Shoulder with the Greek Salad. I was in Greece for 3 weeks in April, and I have to tell you that my meal was VERY authentic! The Greek Salad was traditional w/no lettuce and no heavy dressing, just a lot of good herbs, feta, and light olive oil & maybe some lemon or vinegar. The lamb was superb!! It was so perfectly done...I was right back in Greece with every bite!! The spices and marinade were subtle, just enough to compliment the natural flavor of the lamb. The meat was lean and cooked until I could cut it with a fork, but incredibly moist at the same time. The pita was not the kind we're used to iin America, which leads me to believe its probably homemade. And the Tzatziki was so garlic-y as to burn my mo9uth just slightly...yumm! The Nemea wine I had had before at another Greek place in Seattle. Its always a good bold bet for a Greek red. I'm sure their desserts are yummy too, but I honestly didn't have any room after that huge lamb shoulder which I ate every last bite of!!
If you want some premade frozon gyro meat wrapped in packaged pita with some yogurt and lettuce, you're not worthy of this restaurant....go somewhere else :)
If you're looking for honest to goodness GREAT GREEK FOOD...GO HERE!
Pros: Fabulous Food, VERY Friendly Service, price is very fair

Breakfasts here are awesome. Better come early as it seems that this place is always busy, not matter what time we have stopped there it is always busy. The food is great, service better, and the atmosphere sucks you in. Give it a try come early though
