never met the guy, only by phone, but when my kids car broke while attending school in bellingham he responded quick and didn't play games. fixed car at a more than fair price in a very timely manner.
since i drive only swedish cars i may travel the 120 miles for future work.

I've taken two cars to Bellingham Automotive for various repairs: a 1991 Honda Civic and a 1990 Geo Prizm. They did a great job every time and were very helpful. Not the cheapest place in town, I'll wager, but the service makes up for it.
Once I got in over my head changing a valve cover gasket. I was trying to do as much of the work myself as possible. The plastic spark plug "sleeves" were stuck in the valve cover and I lacked the right tools to remove them. There I was with the valve cover off and no way to proceed other than to have the car towed to a real mechanic. I took a chance and called Bellingham Automotive and told them I wanted to bring the car in for the remainder of the repairs...but it wouldn't run without a valve cover. They let my wife bring the part in (I was at work) and removed the spark plug sleeves and even cleaned up the cover for no charge. You can bet I took the car straight to them when I got the cover back on!

Diehl Ford auto service has been very good for us. Great service and staff that knows what to do and how to fix your problem. The service department will even come and pick you up from your work or home when your car is fixed. They have even given me a loaner when my car has been in the shop for a few days. We have not had any problems or recurring issues with the service we have received.

I was happy that this place will fix any kind of car from American cars to Japanese cars. They were very nice and I didn't feel like, as a woman, i was being taken advantage of. They did the repairs quickly and the night drop for the keys was a plus. I would go there again. Expensive, only because I had a lot of work done on my car.

I was not happy with this company. I took my Ford car to them with a transmission that was having some problems. They gave me a verbal estimate (bad thing on my part to accept a verbal). Ended up with my transmission on the floor and them telling me I needed a re-built one installed. Went with it because I did not have any other choice. Would not use them again.
