I too would like to plug the chrysalis inn. As a guy, I don't have extensive experience with day spa's, but I've always felt comfortable at the chrysalis. They have a treatment for guys that I'd really like to try. For me, it's the atmosphere and they've done a great job to make your time there private, relaxing and comfortable.
If I may speak for my wife, she loves to visit there whenever possible and that was her mother's day gift as well.

I've been to the Chrysalis with my wife twice now. The first time was on our honeymoon and then the second was a year later on our anniversary. Both times were excellent. We each got massages from the spa and we both really enjoyed them. They have fabulous rooms with very comfortable beds and a great view of the bay. This hotel is super nice. I actually stayed here on my wedding night. The front desk person was super helpful, especially with us coming in super late(after the wedding). they let us in and welcomed us in a really nice way. Our room was spacious and had a great view of the water, with our own little deck and nice fireplace. the bathtub was wonderful, bed comfortable and fluffy, and service was amazing. they are luxury priced, and you pay for the view of the water, but it is well worth it. IF you get up earlty enough, they provide a breakfast for you and the local paper is delivered to your door. Highly recommended!

Although it is not a luxury hotel by far, the accomodations are fairly comfortable and the hotel is pretty nice. Customer service was great, there is an indoor pool and hot tub. I WOULD NOT recommend using this place for a Convention if you are in need of lots of space. Although there are several meeting rooms and a very large ballroom, we could not seem to find enough space for an organization as large as ours.

I travel alot with my job and to me a hotel is a hotel is a hotel. They are all pretty much the same and to me they are no maor than a place to sleep while I'm not at home.
The Quality Inn Baron Suites is a decent motel with nice rooms and decent rates. The rooms are clean and that's what I care about most. I don't want to sleep in someone else's filth.
Clean and affordable rooms. And nice clerks at the front desk. Quick check-in.
I paid just over $70 a night for my room.

If you don't mind suspicious "deals" taking place outside your room, or shady characters creeping around at all times of day and night, you should stay at this motel. I live right down the block and get to see, first hand, all of the shady people and suspicious loitering that takes place at this dive. It's not pretty.
I am sure there are a handful of regulars who may not be that bad, but you'll be taking your chances for sure.
PLEASE steer clear of this place.
I'd never allow friends or family to even consider staying here. Never. Not even as a last resort.
It's amazing they are still in business.
Can't speak for the rooms or service, but the people and exterior are absolutely terrible.
ZERO STARS if there was an option for zero stars.
