Once upon a time Lucy's was a charming Hollywood find where you could eat great mexican food, sip strong margaritas and groove to the dark, hip vibe for a reasonable price. And then something happened... I don't know if Lucy was kidnapped or brainwashed or if she simply cashed out and sold the joint, but this restaurant has taken such an unbelievable downturn. The food: at best it's bland; at worst it's revolting. The weaker-than-weak margarita pitchers contain a mere misting of alcohol. (And of course we ordered a bunch of them, hoping to get the faintest buzz, but to no avail.) Final insult: the bill for 11 people (including tip; yes, we tipped 20% -- we're not animals) came to $500. $45 per person to leave a birthday dinner hungry and stone-cold sober. It's going to take me a few days to mourn the loss.
Pros: decor
Cons: way overpriced, inedible food, watered down drinks
