Long's is an excellent place to go if you have a lot of money and need a piece of beautiful jewelry or a special gift. They carry the very best lines like Scott Kay and Judith Ripka as well as a very nice selection of pieces designed by their master craftsmen. They also have several Boston-themed pieces that are perfect souvenirs- my favorite is a lovely silver pendant commemorating the "Make Way for Ducklings" sculpture in the Boston Public Garden. They also have a beautiful selection of engagement rings and can design something if you don't see anything you might want in the store. Be warned though, these beautiful pieces have hefty price tags- if you're looking for a good deal this is not the place for you.
