A couple of years ago I had Don at Leonards custom fab an exhaust system for my track-ready Nissan 300ZX. He did it in a day and it's perfect, with a nice tone. Recently I took my BMW M3 to them to diagnose and fix an exhaust leak. Took my car in without an appointment and had it fixed in one afternoon AND for a very reasonable price. I couldn't be happier. Great little performance shop. Got a custom exhaust fabbed and installed to my specifications in less than a few hours. They drove to their store across town to get the exact muffler I wanted.The price was less than I expected. These guys were the only ones who knew exactly what I was talking about and wanted. Should be great for routine vehicle maintenance and outstanding for performance upgrades. Pros: These guys can get it done. Cons: Maybe call ahead if you need some aftermarket parts. more

I went to the shop at Lamar Blvd. David was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. We just moved in the neighborhood and feel very comfortable doing business with them. FANTASTIC! more

I had previosly taken my car to Ben White Automotive to fix an anoying exhaust rattle. They charge me $45 to put a few "straps" on the exhaust. The rattle quickly came back and a few months later became horribly worse. I stopped by Leonards and they showed me that the "straps" had both broken, and should have never been put on there anyways as metal on metal creates rattles and no rubber was used. They pointed out the real problem (broken resonater) and replaced it (no straps) in half an hour for only $68 including parts. That was a quick and cheap fix for a horribly annoying sound that could have been fixed by Ben White Auto had they actually fixed it and not put generic "straps" on it. Thank you Leonard's Garage. I dropped off my brand new Vette to get a quote on installing a performance exhaust. When I received a call with a quote, the amount was higher than expected, so I decided not to get the work done. I went to pick up my car, but it was not at the shop. I waited for a couple minutes and the manager drives up from giving his kid a joy ride in my car. The car seems ok, but I don't know how he treated it. I can only assume that since he knew I was not going to give him my business he may not have been too gentle with my new car. This garage came highly recommended from a friend, but after he and I witnessed the return of the joy rider, neither of us will be giving this shop any of our business. If you have a basic car, you can probably be safe taking your ride here. If you have something special, you assume your car will be used as the manager's pesonal toy. Beware! Pros: They have the tools and experience to install an exhaust system. Cons: Took my car on a joy ride. No respect for me or my property. more
