Maybe it's just me, but I find the nostalgic '50s decor charming and a calming place to have a great burger. Everything on the medu is delicious and it's prepared when you order it. When the weather permits, you can eat outside too. My favorite quick place around to get some good food. It's not diet food, if you care about that. more

Good Fries 7/15/2005

I think Kidd Valley's malts are pretty danged good. Definitely better than most, and the milkshakes aren't bad. I'm a vegetarian, so I haven't tried their burgers, although they do offer a vegetarian option. However, what I go there for are the french fries. They're good, and they seem to be made from real potatoes, which is nice. They also don't load them down with salt, another plus. So, if you're going to get fries at a fast-food joint, get 'em at Kidd Vally or Dick's. more

A great choice for vegi burgers 5/31/2005

Here you can enjoy a diner-like atmosphere, while you consume a made-to-order vegi-burger (or hamburger, if you are so inclined). Featured is Kidd Valley's special dressing. They listen if you ask for extra, extra pickles and onions. Moreover, they have real malt for their malteds, which puts them ahead of nearly every place else that claims to offer milk shakes. more
