This is one of my favorite restaurants in Bellevue by far. They're generally pretty busy, but there's ample seating. If only there were ample parking.

This place is right across the street from the best Ethiopian in town.
If that's not up your alley, though, this is a good place to go. The atmosphere is relaxed, and they have a fireplace for in the winter. They have a large selection of beer, and the food's pretty good, too. It can get messy in there, though, and that's sort of a turn off, but if you don't mind that, it's a great place for families to enjoy a night out.

I'm a vegetarian, so I haven't tried their burgers, although they do offer a vegetarian option.
However, what I go there for are the french fries. They're good, and they seem to be made from real potatoes, which is nice. They also don't load them down with salt, another plus.
So, if you're going to get fries at a fast-food joint, get 'em at Kidd Vally or Dick's.

The menus are sort of annoying, but the rest is easy to get used to.
The cuisine is definitely metro-Mexican, and it's pretty tasty. If you've eaten real Mexican (not fast food fare), especially Mexican that's been influenced by Maya cooking, you won't be surprised by what you see. The food is really, really good, but there's a lot of it. Both lunch and dinner are pretty tasty.
I've also had good and not-so-friendly service. It's hard to say what the norm is.

My family is all vegetarian, so we had been to this restaurant before and loved our experience. The atmosphere is so nice, the waitstaff is good, and the food is dang good. We've enjoyed it every single time we've been there.
However, not too long ago my spouse discovered some food allergies, and so when we went here a while later, we were a little worried about what my spouse would find to eat.
We needn't have worried. There were a large number of items on the menu that were safe for folks with different food allergies, and we were also informed that we could ask for substitutions if something on the menu would cause a reaction.
So now we love Cafe Flora even more.

Still, it was quite tasty, and pretty amazing. The history behind that style of cooking is neat, too.
If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant that's out of the ordinary and has great food, this is the place for you.

I've eaten there several times, only for lunch, and each time the service was okay. The food was good, but wasn't really worth the wait. Each time I went, the process was very, very slow. We went there with a group from work, and lunch took 2 hours. Not optimal. But if you're not in a hurry, it's a nice place to eat.

Pen Thai, in my opinion, is one of the better Thai places East of Lake Washington, especially in the northeast neighborhoods. The food has always been excellent, and the scale of spiciness ensures that there's a spice level for everyone. If you like it hot, you can get it hot, but you can also get it with minimal spice.
Plus, I think they have the best Phad Ki Mao in the Seattle area. ^_^
The atmosphere is really great, too. It's clean and modern, with brushed copper and wooden beams. Very classy, but still casual. This business is a gem in downtown Bothell. Baskin-Robbins is just down the street, too, in case black rice pudding doesn't do it for you.

ACT Theater has a great facility. There are several stages, and in each of them there's not a bad seat in the house. The chairs are comfortable and clean, there are refreshments available, including drinks, and the all around atmosphere is great.
The performances are wonderful, too. They put on a wide variety of plays throughout the year, and the caliber of acting is high. I have enjoyed every single performance I've been to.
If you subscribe to the entire season, you also get parking vouchers for a small additional fee. This allows you to park inside the Washington Convention Center and take an indoor route into the theater. This is very convenient, especially if you're running late or it's raining outside.
The season subscription is a little more pricey than some of the other theaters, but considering the amenities and quality, it's more than worth it.
