I have used K&M twice. The first time I did the normal steam service and was very satisfied. The second go round I needed them to address a pet pee spot, one of our older dogs had an accident and I needed it GONE! I'm a carpet nazi, I do not allow shoes on my carpet and I vacuum almost every day if that tells you the level of cleanliness I maintain in my house. So during K&M's second time out, they used their pet odor eliminator enzyme along with their mild cleanser that they always use. It seemed to do the trick, but weeks after I was still smelling the enzyme in the carpet. I should tell you that both my husband and I are EXTREMELY sensitive to smells. I can only describe the leftover enzyme smell as dirty dishwater. Now, like I said, other people that have had the enzyme used during their service might not ever smell what I described, but like I said, I have a sensitive sniffer. I suppose my point here is that I do not believe that there is anything inherently wrong with K&M's chemicals. So after doing all in my power to eliminate this dirty/stale dishwater smell (dusting baking soda over the carpet and vacuuming many times) I finally broke down and called K&M. They were so accommodating and friendly and suggested that they come out to rinse and steam the carpets again for free. The owner called me back to set up the service for the next day. The technicians were happy to help me and did a thorough job. I cannot say enough good things about this company, they truly care about their customers and it shows. They didnt care about asking me questions regarding my grievance or even consider that perhaps it was not a legitimate claim (although to my nose it was), they just wanted to make me happy. That's what good customer service is all about. I was blown away. I will most definitely use K&M for all of my steam cleaning needs, and I will definitely recommend them to all my friends. Thanks K&M, see ya in a few months!
