My oil change took over two and a half hours. I was pretty upset that it took that long for a simple oil change.

As customers of John's Automotive for several years, we have come to expect excellent service for our cars. When we took our CR-V in for a 60,000 mile service, we were not disappointed. Everything was done in a professional, competent manner. All the needed work and tests were thoroughly explained. The staff is always pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. Like a newer car 4/14/2011

I am thrilled that my 14 year old car has a second wind! As I drove away from the shop, the acceleration was immediate. I had not felt that kind of power for years, thanks to a great valve cover job and tune up. Thanks go to those who helped us by getting the car back into better shape. more

I will not be back! 4/10/2011

I went to John's Automotive Care last week for a routine smog check. My car did not pass inspection and the recommended repairs were going to cost around $1500. But this is not why I won't be going back. In the course of their diagnostic, the mechanic had to disengage my throttle body. THEY FORGOT TO ASSEMBLE IT BEFORE MY DAD DROVE IT OUT OF THE SHOP!! I couldn't believe it. Lucky for me, my dad was able to carefully steer the car back to the shop and have them fix it. But I'm afraid my trust in John's Automotive Care is gone for good. I will not be back! more

I HAVE HAD A LOT OF EXPERENCE OVER THE YEARS WITH MECHANICS - GOOD AND BAD. JOHN'S AUTOMOTIVE HAS SEASONED "CAR GUYS" THAT KNOW WHERE TO SOURCE RELIABLE REPLACEMENT PARTS, SO YOU WON'T BE REPLACING THAT SAME TRANSMISSION AGAIN A COUPLE YEARS DOWN THE ROAD THAT CAME FROM THE LOWEST BIDDER REBUILT PARTS HOUSE. THEY DO GOOD WORK AND ACCOMODATE YOU (GET YOU IN) WHEN YOU ARE IN A PINCH - UNLIKE A DEALER. more

My first visit to John's was great! I only came for a smog check and was quoted 45 minutes and was out in less than 20 minutes. Very friendly person when I called and the man who helped me was as well. I would definitely go back should I have a need for car repair, etc...I also noticed how neat and clean and organized the facility was and that impressed me. Thank you. more

Outstanding 3/28/2011

I'm 67 years old and have been driving for 50 years. In that time I've used the services of many, many automotive facilities. John's Automotive Care is in the top 1% of all the facilities I've ever used. From the manager and the front office staff to the highly trained mechanics they're complete professionals in everything they do. They're friendly, courteous and best of all, their rates are very reasonable for the quality of work performed. They're not happy until your happy. I highly recommend them. more
