Worst

My oil change took over two and a half hours. I was pretty upset that it took that long for a simple oil change.

Engine Stall Repair 8/29/2011

John's staff took care of my engine problem expeditiously and at a great price. Imagine my surprise when I was informed of the repair bill that had to be half to one tird the price a dealer would have charged me. Great service before and after the repair including advice on tire rotation and brands. more

C'mon, John, if your team wasn't wonderful, I wouldn't come back for service and oil change every month since you started here, would I? I realize most people don't drive 3,000 miles a month, but I do and you have kept my cars driving well for longer than any others I have had. more

Oil Change and then some! 8/10/2011

The customer care is always top notch. Kind and personable people. The communication could be more consistent. Keeping the customer apprised of goings on would be helpful. I had to call in 2x to get information. Got charged a $25 battery cleaning fee even though it was later determined that the battery had to be replaced. more

GREAT JOB Fixed Kia when everyone else failed 8/10/2011

I took my 1996 Kia Sportage to John's automotive after it failed smog for 4 years and I could not get another pass from the State Automotive BAR referee. I was ready to junk the SUV. They fixed the problem and got it to pass smog. I strongly recommend this company they are honest, persistence and dependable. GREAT JOB Thank You. Ken G. more

serpentine belt 7/29/2011

I brought my Volvo in with a high pitched squealing noise. John's Automotive replaced the serpentine belt that day. I appreciate the ride home and back to the shop to pick up my car! Thank you more

Wonderful Service! 7/28/2011

John's Automotive took care of me right from the start. They were able to fix my car that same day, gave me a discount off my bill and sent someone on their team to pick me up from work and take me back to pick up my car. Very honest and reliable...I couldn't have asked for a better experience with an auto shop. I will definitely recommend them to others! more

The work I needed done required parts that were not readily available. I will reserve judgment until the project is finished. I will say that the front office folks (Joseph, Brian and Dana) are very helpful and friendly. I just don't want to comment on the quality of the repairs until the work is done. more

a little overpriced 7/21/2011

Went there needing a new comressor clutch for my a/c. They quoted me 1500, i took it to my normal shop with people i can trust and saved over 700 on the repair more

My car ended up needing more work than i anticipated but i guess that's what happens when you don't maintain it properly. Everyone was exceptionally nice especially Joseph. He was the kindest person i have met in general. more

stood behind their work 7/15/2011

I had brake work done on my Suburban. This included bleeding and replacing the brake fluid. Shortly thereafter I began have problems with a burning smell and front-end shaking. Because of vacations and limited use of the vehicle it took me about a month to take the vehicle back in to assess what what the problem was. Brian assessed the problem as related to a contaminate in the brake fluid and agreed do a significant amount of work to repair the problem at no charge. Although many companies say they stand behind their work 100%, for many those are just words. Glad to do business with a shop that truly stands behind their work. more
