After viewing a advertisement on TV, I decided to see what The Jewelry Exchange is all about. Wow, was I shocked and surprised by their customer service and friendly atmosphere. I wasn't pressured at all and was provided numerous options with my diamond ring purchases for my wife. I would like to personally thank Bettina White for her help/assistance in finding for me what I was looking for in diamond rings! She is a class act!!! You guys have a great diamond consultant in Bettina...don't let her leave your company!!! Thank you again Bettina and the rest of the wonderful staff @ Jewelry Exchange/Dallas for your help. My husband bought me a beautiful ring and we got it for a great price. I had problems with losing several stones out of the pave setting repeatedly. The in store customer service is great... they really try and take care of you. BUT the problem is it is a privately owned Co and each store has to go through their headquarters in California to get anything done. The customer service at headquarters sucks. Very slow and zero communication back to customer. I've had a very frustrating experience over this ring. If I had not gotten such a great deal on the center stone which is a lovely yellow center cut diamond. I would of returned it and gotten my money back just out of principle alone. But I love the stone and know I would have a hard time replacing it so I will have it set into a new setting of my choice at a later date from a jeweler of my choice! So bottom line great prices and nice selection of loose cut diamonds! more

I walked into the store after going to a dozen or so other stores. Robert directed me to his staff and found out what my budget was. They brought me all of the diamonds and settings that were within my budget. They gave me the best diamond I looked at during my whole shopping process for the perfect engagement ring! My fiance Loves the ring! They weren't pushy or anything. It was all about how I felt about the ring and what I wanted. They don't work off of commission so there is no hassle and pressure! I recommend this place to everyone! more

Their staff, Ashley in particular, was incredibly helpful! Modeling the earrings, suggesting settings, and not trying to sell too hard. I bought two pair of diamond earrings for my wife, of which she lost one...of each! They honored their upgrade policy and let me trade in each of the remaining earrings for 70% of their original value in order to get (yet) another pair of diamond earrings. The people at the Jewelry Exchange have been great both times I've been there. First to purchase my wife's engagement ring and wedding band, then to buy her anniversary ring a month ago. They're all very polite and listened to what I was looking for not what they wanted to sell. Answered all of my questions and had the rings sized in a timely manner. I went to several jewelry stores to get help with an unusual request and no one would help. The folks at Jewelry Exchange were extremely friendly and more than happy to help me out. I would recommend them to anyone that expects a higher level of customer service over other jewelers. more

short version: they sold us a diamond that did not match the certification they gave us to go with it. We paid for 1.02 carats, SI1 clarity and D in color and the stone they gave us (as appraised by an independant gemologist) was .91 carats, SI2 clarity, and H-I in color. Then after having my engagement ring and wedding bands soldered together, they weighed LESS than their combined weight before I took them in. The only explaination for this is that gold was removed--all the stones were still in place. When confronted about it being rough and uncomfortable, Alan Abraham, the store manager, told us that there was nothing else he could do for me. After spending THOUSANDS of dollars there, he would do NOTHING to fix what he and his staff had RUINED. I had to go to an independent jeweler and pay an additional $430 to get my ring WEARABLE.
