If you are going to get the Brazilian Keratin treatment, why don't you get it from a Brazilian professional!? Cristina literally changed my life! My hair was dry, frizzy and boring. Before I met Cristina I was very against having any chemical applied to my hair. Well... after a few highlights, a haircut and an informative chat with her I felt comfortable enough to have the Brazilian Keratin done to my hair. WOW!!! My hair has never never never felt or looked this shiny, soft and bouncy before. Not only that, it only takes a few minutes to look good in the morning. The result was incredible! I AM HOOKED!!!Cristina is amazing! more

Not worth for the price 10/23/2006

I had heard about James Joseph hair salon and thought of trying it, since I needed a pick me up look. I would've gotten the same look, or better, for half the price. Try Anthony Pino's salon in Newbury street and Interlude in Malden. Am not satisfied, and the hair is acting funny, had a hard time styling it this morning. more

James Joseph Salon -- Just okay.... 4/11/2006

Kathleen at James Joseph is good for both color and cut. I've used her twice and been satisfied. However, the salon itself is not that great -- I felt the the staff was overall unprofessional and they make a big deal about charging $40 extra for drying your hair after the cut/curl. Also, they don't take American Express, which for a high-end service is shortsighted. more

Award Winning Salon with Award Winning Hairstylists! 10/22/2005

I heard through the grapevine that James Jospeh was a great salon to try. I made an appointment with Rudina and it was the best thing I have ever done! She was great with the color and listened to the exact cut I wanted. The rest of the salon employees were very attentive and extremely friendly. more

If you're ever looking for a great hair stylist, Mayte at James Joseph is fantastic! She is always up-to-date on new styles and new methods of hair cutting and coloring. On top of that, she is an absolute doll! The salon itself is quite up-to-trend and everybody is very nice. I've been a client of Mayte's for 7 years now and have always had a great experience! Anybody I know that goes there has the same reaction. more
