I have always been very picky about my hair. Since I have been going to Island Design Natural Hair Salon for the last 2 years I have gotten use to the regular compliments I get on my hair. The whole experience at the salon is great. A chilled glass of wine, friendly service and hip environment. more

If you would like the best haircut you`ve ever had and a perfect manicure, go to Island Design Natural Hair Salon. It`s a fun place to go, too, because you are welcomed and treated like a valued friend. When I first discovered this marvelous salon, I lived in Philadelphia PA,so I traveled only about 5 miles. Ten years ago, I moved more than 50 miles away, but the distance hasn`t changed anything. I wouldn`t even consider going elsewhere ... not as long as I am capable of driving. Their prices are fair and reasonable in today`s economy. If you are looking for firstrate stylists and service, you might want to try this salon. I recommend it! more

Great Service 9/3/2012

When I opened a business in Philadelphia PA 7 years ago, I was on the lookout for a new Hair Salon. I only needed to look three doors down. When you go into Island Design Natural Hair Salon you are treated like a friend. All the stylists, colorists, facialists, and the nail lady are wonderful. They are a full service salon and can fix whatever needs fixing and tell you when its time for a change. Many of my customers comment on my hair and I refer them to Island Design Natural Hair Salon and they are always very happy. I am always amazed at how busy they are and that they have had some customers since they first opened. IA very good sign in todays economy. I highly reccomend this salon and wouldn`t think of goin anywhere else! more

Great Service 4/4/2012

Great Haircut -- Ask for Gary I've lived in the city for many years and gone to a lot of places to get my haircut (some really expensive), Gary at Island Design Natural Hair Salon is by far the best around. He knows exactly what he is doing and the prices at Island Design Natural Hair Salon are really reasonable. Before Gary I was paying twice as much at some place downtown. If you're picky about your hair and looking for an awesome cut then Gary is your guy! more

This was by far the best hair cut I have EVER received!! The salon atmosphere is very relaxing and nice. The staff is unbelievably funny and helpful and they remember the clientle. The space itself is very comfortable and relaxing. Good products and they are really good. more

I went to Island Design Natural Hair Salon 2 days ago. The stylists was friendly and professional. Angela had taken care about my haircut and I really like how she done it. She was listening to what are you talking about, what do you like or dislike. And price is fair, $32+tip for the male haircut. I strongly recommend this place. more

I had the most amazing experience at Island Design Natural Hair Salon. The people are extremely professional and are very helpful. When I walked in the door my hair was a disaster. And 2 hours later I left with beautiful healthy hair. I personally love the job Colleen does. She is quick and consistently amazing. more

The best haircut experience I've had. I'm not a huge haircut guy, but it was really cool having a stylist, Ivonne, who really takes pride in her work. Everyone was very friendly and personable (shout out to the front desk, Sulel). It was my first time but I'll definitely be coming back. Oh, and I really liked the haircut I got :). more
