It's been years, but it still ticks me off 5/29/2010

I picked up my very first pair of glasses today and the irritation I felt over my experience at Image Eyewear surfaced in me over me all over. The lenses are wobbly in the frames. Want to know why? I ended up bending the hinges on these frames. I loved them enough that I wanted to replace them with the exact same model. They were a solid brown, so dark they looked black. They ordered the new pair and I left my old frames so they could transfer the lenses. I went to pick my new glasses up and they were a light to medium tortoise shell with a very pronounced pattern. I don't look good in tortoise shell, I do look good in black. So I was absolutely shocked. She insisted that she ordered the right sku and that was just how they were. Nothing she could do. Couldn't return the new frames to the manufacturer. I was livid. I can't believe that she seriously transferred my lenses to these new frames that looked nothing like the old ones, and then pretended it was fine. After I wouldn't budge she just resorted to trying to bully me. She offered to order additional frames at full cost to me. What a deal! The ""solution"" was for her to take my old, now ground down lenses and put them back in my old frames. They were smaller now and so they had to stick them in with this gummy stuff. So they are wobbly. I'm convinced that these people get by solely on the strength of their inventory. I would never go there again. I would travel to a different city if I had to to get new glasses. Nice Eye Wear, Terrible Customer Service 6/21/2008

I love their products. The woman who works there is rude. She first took my check and told me she had ordered my glasses. Later, when I went to pick them up, she had decided that she did not want to take my check because it was out of state and never ordered my glasses. I had to give her a credit card, and wait several weeks more for my glasses. And to make things worse, she had a terrible attitude and was rude. At their prices, I expect customer service to be good. Worst Customer service ever......No sense of ""professional"" responsibility 9/30/2007

Perhaps the worst customer service experience I've ever had. It took 2 months to get 2 pair of glasses (after several problems, bad lenses, scratched frames..etc) They broke the end of the temple on a pair of glasses that I brought them to get new lenses for and wouldn't take responsibility for it (""it just fell off""). One of their solutions was to glue the part of the temple back on. I finally settled for a credit on them after weeks of negotiation. \r \r They gave me glasses twice with defects in the lenses....no quality control.\r \r I just stopped back in to check on the ""scratch warranty"" on 1 of the pairs I bought and was informed that it was out of warranty because they ordered the original lenses on Sept 26th, even though the glasses weren't available to me until november. \r \r As I said....No sense of personal or proffesional responsibility.
